personalities before and after meeting: before meeting, evalaus was a very unorganized, disoriented doll. he was ultimately a hermit since he had no true owner, no shadow, and no dollhouse to live in. he was carefree but looked forward to nothing everyday; only hoping something good would happen soon. pinup was previously very slow, quiet, and closed-off for having no doll to connect with. they felt lonely and as if they were only half of themselves without knowing they had someone they could always be close to. after meeting,
how they met: it was at a large party at a dollhouse, and it was a matter of being at the right place at the right time...
small facts: evalaus has relatively bad eyesight and needs his sensory antennae to maneuver himself. his vision is blurred, bright, and all of his colors on his color wheel are reverted to be red or yellow in shade. with his sensory antennae he can see faded versions of all the colors instead of their full counterparts. val's hobbies include sewing, cooking (everything except for sea animals), and listening or making music. val has a specially made bag to fit pinup along with all of their pins to switch out as needed. pinup made val's red circle hair clips, though they were originally supposed to be hearts. lou is a generally physically cold doll, hence why he wears his jacket most of the time. his socks are mismatched simply because he's indecisive.

this was the first song evalaus heard after becoming an animate doll. at first it was muddled, as his ears didn't really work as well as they needed to, but he later on found the red, bunny-like sensory antennae that detatched somehow. without any knowledge of how they truly came off or why, he put them back on and listened to the song for hours, not minding the open window with a raging storm although the red attachments sensed danger. static played on the tv with a glitching sunset shown as it grew darker.

evalaus was a very laid-back, carefree doll before they met pinup. never having an owner also contributed to their lack of knowledge of how to properly take care of themselves. the majority of clothes he wears are those stolen from other dollhouses or made and given to him by other dolls. after meeting pinup, val found a sense of firm self-confidence and took up the hobby of making his own clothes instead.

both him and pinup love this upbeat song since it always makes them happier. it was additionally the song played when they celebrated their birthday together after meeting, since neither of them had had a party before then.

eva, having no knowledge of how other dolls act after avoiding them for so long, needed help from pinup with doll-to-doll relationships. his first relationship he'd fallen into a blind love, though his shadow was transparent and recognized that the "friend," was actually trying to steal his red antennae. evalaus saw the truth once pin revealed it to him, but his second doll-to-doll relationship was the exact same.

pinup especially enjoys this song because they feel as if they don't need to worry about anything with eve. it was also the song the shadow heard when they first learned the doll didn't have a shadow. pin thought of the song as a sign that the two had to meet and be with eachother after if it was meant to be.

lou and bun have such a strong connection to eachother that their antennae actually move the same way and sense what the other senses. the doll becomes genuinely happy whenever their shadow is mentioned, and enjoys any time spent with them as it puts them at ease.

this slower jam is meant as ackerly's general feelings towards edan. they're for the most part, very romantic. however
ackerly realizes that they can't actually be together, for goodness sakes they're bonded by a contract. ackery doubts
that edan would even be here if it wasn't for ackery's desperation to survive, and with all of the other people
he falls in love w/, ackerly keeps their thoughts to themselves, but lets just say they're looking for a different
kind of love from edan.

edan is very much a person who's life falls apart often, and trying to fix it isn't very easy. this has caused a
hopeless doll and his angry pin cushion shadow to clash every once and a while. it's often that they fight, but
edan hope to make things right between the two of them, as these quarrels are never safe for any shadow.

it's a cute song that reminds me of ackerly and edan's relationship, and i thought it would fit nicely into the playlist.

My interpretation/explanation here (highlight to see after watching playlist (if you want to compare your interpretation with mine)):

Hafumi doesn't fit in his undersea town and he feels lonely :(. He also feels like the days drag on and on, with nothing eventful happening. He gazes and gazes at the moon, his only solace. Eventually, he falls in love with it and wants to go to the moon. His peers think it's an impossible dream. He continues to gaze up at the sky, night after night until one windy midnight, he sees a UFO! Not only that, he meets a uchu-usagi from the moon! From then on, the two hang out in their secret base, each teaching the other until dawn. Hafumi learns about star formations and he teaches the uchu-usagi about his home. One day, the uchu-usagi offers to take Hafumi to the moon. Hafumi, of course, accepts. But as he leaves, a stark reality reveals itself! He realizes he really likes his home and that space is kind of scary, resulting in an existential crisis. Uchu-usagi trys to calm him down and when they finally reach the moon, Hafumi has an epiphany. "It's beautiful...The Earth is beautiful."
The two friends have an Earth viewing festival together, soaking in the atmosphere, their smiles never waning.
When Hafumi is returned (friend's contact in hand), the landscape has changed. The sea radiates with a new kind of energy.

Eventually, years and years past, and Hafumi isn't really sure if that all really happened, but still, he recalls it fondly.

Notes:
- Sorry this isn't very doll related... maybe he was born from this dream? Maybe it all never happened and the doll hallucinated it because of the dream? Maybe...?
