personality wrote:Samara only has one goal- to ruin the lives of others. She craves destruction and discord. She spends most of her time in the ocean, but is able to crawl onto land if she really feels like chasing after someone. Samara can dive all the way to the very, very bottom of the ocean. The light protruding from her head causes severe hallucinations when stared at. Many creatures seem to find this light captivating. Samara swims closer to the surface of the ocean until she finds a creature to prey on using a form of echolocation. She progressively gets closer to the creature, giving them terrifying hallucinations. She then swims all the way to the bottom of the ocean, dragging the creature along with her. Samara makes this process very slow, causing the creature as much pain as possible before they die from the immense pressure. If Samara becomes bored, she may injure the creature severely to speed up the process. Samara was hurt very badly when she was still alive, and dreams of everyone feeling the exact pain she did. While she may seem emotionless, Samara actually has emotions stronger than she can handle. She uses the pain of others to cope with her trauma.
She used to have siren-like tendencies, where she would attract most of her victims with her chilling, shrill voice. After a while, Samara realized this ability was harder to keep her victims' attention with, and switched to using her light permanently. However, she still possesses her siren abilities, and can use them whenever she pleases...
short story wrote:She was being dragged. She laid stationary in the middle of the ocean, enveloped by a school of betta fish as deep black as outer space. The ocean was not silent. It was filled with her shrieking scream. Water filled her lungs, but she did not fade. She could not die. The pain spread throughout her chest. The salty water of the deep blue burned her entire body like lava. For a moment, Samara's mind drifted away from the thought of the pain, and towards the thought of how water that was freezing cold could feel so hot. The black betta fish covered her entire body, preventing her from seeing anything around her. They occasionally bit Samara with nightmarish fangs, increasing the feeling of burning in her blood. She never ceased to scream. Her voice never wore out. She continued to be dragged down by an unknown substance. It felt like it had already been hours. Was she dead? She couldn't be. She was still screaming. She could still see the ivory shapes among the black color of the betta fish- their fangs reaching out to Samara. As she was dragged deeper, her mouth began to fill with the taste of blood. Had it always been like that? Her eyes were stinging. How had she been keeping her eyes open the whole time? Her lungs felt like they were collapsing. How was she able to take in that much water? She was still screaming. How? And just when she thought the torment would never end
she reached
the bottom.
Voices flooded her head.
"You're one of us now!"
"You're one of us now!"
"You're one of us now!"
"You're one of us now!"
"You're one of us now!"
The betta fish rushed away.
But she still couldn't see.
Strange.
Even stranger,
the ocean was silent again.
It seemed so loud a moment ago.
Everything had been so horrifying a moment ago.
But now, Samara just smiled her new, twisted smile.
And swam up.
Within a minute, she was dragging her first victim
down
and down
and down
and down
and down
and down.
They were screaming so loud.
So, so loud.
Painfully loud.
The ocean was silent again.
It seemed so loud a moment ago.
