favorite thing about fall [300 word limit]: Foxy's favorite thing about fall is all the beautiful leaves, gently gliding down onto the ground and all the animals that roam through the bright, warmly colored forests. The leaves are so beautiful, their red and gold colors bringing a sense of warmth and comfort. The leaves also make for great decor, as well as crowns. The weather is perfect for baking delicious goods, pies, cookies, upon many other tasty treats. It's the perfect time for sitting outside, on a porch, leaves fluttering around you, the sun setting a subtle glow around you, with a warm cup of hot chocolate. It's a wonderful time, with a wonderful atmosphere. I guess you could say her favorite thing is everything (118 words)

Brandy’s favorite thing about fall is that her dance studio begins to rehearse and assign parts for their annual nutcracker ballet. Every year she auditions for Clara, the main character of the nutcracker, but always seems to fall just short, and land as the understudy or anther character instead. Brandy’s dream is to be cast as Clara, because when she was a kit she’d always admire Clara, as she went through many adventures, for her nutcracker prince. She wants to be that same inspiration for other kits and kalons- after all, the nutcracker was the reason she started to dance! She’s been practicing all year, and working on her self confidence, and she believes this year is the year she’ll finally get the part, and all her hard work will pay off! Because of this, she waits anxiously for fall to come every year!
Brandy simply adores dancing. She loves the feeling of spinning and leaping about, with the air caressing her fur. Whether for a crowd or her own enjoyment, dance simply gives her life. Brandy even loves to dance in the outdoors during the fall, when nobody’s looking. She enjoys the vivid colors of fall leaves and the cold air rushing into her lungs, as her paws crunch against the crisp dead leaves. Fall is Brandy’s absolute favorite time to dance, which has got to be her favorite thing about the season. Between the nutcracker, the splendid weather, and the leaves, there’s no way she couldn’t enjoy the pleasant season!

favorite thing about fall: Conkers! Conkers was a game Mac played as a kit. After school he and his friends would race down to the park and gather 'conkers' from the roots of the horse chestnut tree. A spiky green shell encased the seeds they sought so most children collected ones on the ground that had broken free from their casing. Mac was one of the brave few who'd climb up the tree to carefully pluck live ones from the branches. Once they had collected as many conkers as they could they'd carry them home to prepare them for tomorrow's competition. The simplest way to prepare for the games is to drill a small hole through the centre of the conker, and thread a shoelace through - tying a knot in the end to secure the conker. However, Mac had a better strategy. First, he soaked the conkers in vinegar for a few hours, then he roasted them in the oven to give them a hard shell. He used a small nail and a hammer to carefully bore a hole through the conker and secured the shoelace. He put his conkers in his schoolbag and closed his eyes to sleep, silhouettes of swinging conkers replaying over his eyelids.

The train rails down the track. One of the windows in the car is propped open. A strong breeze finds the entrance to the car and decided to go in and dance around. The air fills the fur and manes of everyone in the car. It waltzes over to the book in Finn's hands and flips the corners in hopes of getting his attention. He slides his hands up to hold the pages down.

Only an hour more till it's all over.

That was the only thing on Finn's mind. He couldn't wait for this long year to be over. Fall was the best time of year because for once, his favorite thing was going to finally be in his arms once again. He could feel the warmth and love radiating off of his dream. What he wouldn't do for time to speed up.

Finally, the train stopped at the final destination. The brakes were hard and heavy; the noise of them filled the train car. Finn stood as fast as he could but he was pushed back down by other, faster guests who beat him to the open space. He huffed and tapped his foot. How long did he have to wait to get off this train and finally enjoy his fall? The other guests cleared after what felt like eons so Finn stood up, reached for his brown leather luggage from the storage above his seat. He took a deep breath and began to walk down the aisle of the car. The red carpet crunched under his shoes. He neared the door, paused for a moment, straightened out his coat and fixed his glasses, and processed on his walk. He turned the corner, walked down the stairs, and there was his favorite thing, running towards him yelling,

Daddy!

This kalon loves to go hiking all year round, but he enjoys autumn the most. The satisfaction of the leaves crunching beneath his feet as he walks, the bursts of strong winds that chill you to the bone and makes the trees dance the hula. He loves to just to sit and watch the leaves fall, everyone wearing at least 3 layers of clothing, breathing warm air into their hands as they go. What isn't there to love?

favorite thing about fall [300 word limit]: Rhi loves to knit in the autumn season! It's the perfect time to start knitting christmas presents, and she can knit scarves, mittens, and hats for her to wear on her morning walks with Sasha, her sheepdog. She loves to knit coats and blankets, she even knitted Sasha her very own blanket, despite the fact that her dog got hair all over it. And knitting isn't just practical, she also likes to just make toys and novelty products, such as giant knitted bottles and plates. But her very favourite thing to do? She loves to take Sasha for a walk through the nature reserve to their local park. Sasha plays with other dogs and Rhiannon sits on a bench and - can you guess? - knits. Then, when she’s knitted enough, she plays with Sasha. Throwing sticks, rolling in leaves, wrestling - it’s the best part of her day.
