The smell of carnival foods are wafting through the air... What does your character head for first?: [ 244 words ]

Vanilla and Caramel went to the Carnival together, and with both of their names being based around food, it wasn't very difficult to put together that they would focus on such, at least for a little while. They went in separate ways, but they both were excited about the food shown off around the carnival.

Caramel, of course, bolted for the Caramel Apples. Caramel, unfortunately, had never seen apples covered in Caramel, and was extremely interested in trying one. It took a bit of a struggle, but eventually she was able to take a bite out of it, and she had never felt more hyper and excited over an apple covered in sugar. She bought several with the help of her handler, and had them all in a nice cooler so that the caramel wouldn't melt everywhere.

Vanilla, on the other hand, went over to the funnel cakes. She was less interested in buying them, but she was interested in watching someone at the stand make them. She was very interested in the process, but did happen to buy one just to see what they tasted like. Let's just say, that after one, she got pretty obsessed. In another arm, her caretaker held a basket filled with wrapped funnel cakes.

Sometimes, when your heifers love sweets, dealing with them can be a bit more than expected.

The smell of carnival foods are wafting through the air... What does your character head for first?:

Buttercup frolicked as best she could - she was a dairy cow, after all - romping clumsily through the "edible" area of the carnival. Her sister lagged behind, overwhelmed by the sights and sounds. Buttercup didn't spare her even a sympathetic thought - there was food to be had!

The heifer had her eye out for one thing in particular, one very specific food that would knock her hooves off the moment it touched her tongue. She passed by cart after cart, tent after tent, looking over candied apples and carrot-ka-bobs to find her perfect snack. Bluebell lagged behind, not understanding how comfortable her sister could be in all this chaos.

"What on earth are ye' lookin' for?" Bluebell mooed, her silver bell tingling as if to accentuate her question. Buttercup tooked, stopping completely so her sister could properly catch up.

"Why! I'm lookin' fer rock candy! Ye' know I've got a mighty hankerin' for them crystals every year an' -" The cow stopped. Bluebell looked about ready to laugh! Why would she laugh at her for wanting what she wanted?

"Why, what'so funny t' ye'?" Buttercup asked crossly. Bluebell only sighed, and held out a hoof.

"Butte'cup, how're ye' s'posed to eat any rock candy if you ain't got no fancy hands or magic t' do it? Ye' know better than t' go grabbin' people's food righ' off their carts."

Buttercup contemplated this fact for a long while. After she was done thinking, she looked up and met her sister's questioning gaze.

"Have you ever gone apple dunkin'?"

Lorelei eyes glimmer with excitement as she trots further into the carnival grounds, inhaling the sweet scents of candy floss, toffee apples and caramel corn... caramel corn? Why, that was Lorelei’s absolute favourite! She began to skip forwards, following the sweet scent. She soon reached her destination, a small food booth painted purple and white. Bags filled to the brim with caramel corn stood in rows before her, and she grinned.

“May I please have a bag of caramel corn?” She asked to the vendor, who outstretched a hoof to give the bag over, trading it for a few golden coins. Lorelei gave him a cheerful smile before trotting away merrily, caramel corn in hand.

The smell of carnival foods are wafting through the air... What does your character head for first?: Invanka ofcourse, heads straight for the corn dogs only hoping and praying they do a vegan choice! As it is 2018 right? And if there is no hope there she will for sure head over to the popcorn stand, she loves the sweet buttery smell ans the sound of the kernels popping away, some may say it’s annoying but to her it’s utter bliss. Especially considering she’s a mighty food lover. Despite being told on a daily basis that her diet must be boring due to her being vegan, it’s the carnival and the foods like popcorn that makes it all worthwhile. Another thing that Invanka enjoys is a special churro stand that has been there for all the years she can remember! The bakers daughter is gluten free which supports the vegan lifestyle in more than one aspect so due to this, it’s almost gaurenteed that she will be able to snag some sweet treats that don’t go against her beliefs! Vegans can have fun and enjoy things too! The only downside is the lack of awareness and the often longer lines to wait in just to find out nothing is available, it’s a little disheartening but Invanka often feels lucky and hits jackpots when it comes to food stalls and carts
