Small story about their daily activities: Damascus is a forge-monkey, both by name and by trade. He usually has to wake up before dawn to get his forge nice and hot before the customers start rolling in. He's a revered blacksmith; warrior kiuiis and other smiths travel to him from miles around just to watch him work, in the hope that they may glean some knowledge to hone their own craft. His favourite metal to work with is, of course, Damascus steel: its intricate patterns and complex welding method make it a challenge, and like many hot-headed young male kiuiis, he loves to be challenged.

Nero lives in a small apartment in the UK. There isn't much space so he spends a lot of time outside, every single morning at 7:30am Nero leaves his apartment to visit his favourite café where he orders the same thing, caramel laté and a blueberry muffin. He then takes a walk from the café to the park and then back to the apartment where he gets ready for work. He works till 9pm most weekdays and gets home, orders a curry and sits back.
