Oh gosh I'm in love!!!
Username: AceCavalier
Show Name: The Dragonstone's Curse
Barn Name: Drake
Gender: Stallion
Halter: Black and crimson
Tolters Owned: None atm!
Personality: Few know the true extent of Drake's history, but everyone who meets him knows for certain that he has one. It's clear enough in his eyes and the shadows that writhe within them; it's visible in the nervous glances, the tense body language, the immediate hostility towards strangers. He is cold, distant, and standoff-ish, gruff with his greetings and quick to bite. Because of this, others tend to avoid him - talking to him, going near him, even looking at him is avoided where possible, and for the most part, Drake is happy with that. It's easier if people don't bother dealing with him at all.
The story goes, as it's been heard and passed from ear to ear, that Drake once had someone very close to him, someone that he would have done anything to protect. They went through many hardships together, and experienced more than their fair share of suffering. This friend betrayed him, however, and though the circumstances of the betrayal are unclear, it's clear as day that Drake has not forgotten. There was a time when Drake had a kind and giving heart, and a powerful drive to aid and protect others, but the Drake that was is apparently long-gone - or at least to the eyes of a stranger.
But there are some who have managed to see past the mask of hostility that Drake wears to protect himself, and have tentatively tried to forge some flimsy sort of friendship with him. While shaky at first, these attempts have chipped away at a hard exterior to reveal something forgotten within. Slowly, cautiously, Drake is learning how to peer past the walls he's built against others and to be a part of the world around him once again. He is beginning to remember who he was, to remember how to open himself to others, and, step by step, he is striving to become the Drake of old once again.
(Finished!)
