-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Her eyelids fluttered open once she heard commotion from outside the room that she was staying in. She threw the warm sheets off of her and lazily dragged her feet across the floor to the chair that held her brown shawl. Anastasia picked it up and threw it around her, making herself warm once more. Now to see what the uproar was all about.
She turned her body over towards the door and headed over towards it, grabbing the silver knob. She pressed her head against the door and listened closely.
"Tampa! You go back downstairs and treat him with respect!"
"But father! He's a low life scheming crook that betrayed you, and not just you, he got me in trouble once with mother! Don't you think that I want to see him?!"
There was a silence that lingered for a moment. "Still, you should go see him. It would be nice- and if I do recall, you promised Miss Anya that you would introduce her to him.".
"And? Miss Anya is leaving tomorrow, so why should she be able to meet him?"
"But Tampa-"
"Don't 'But Tampa' me father! Lord, you are now starting to sound like mother." the prince huffed in anger.
"Well sorry that I'm trying to prove myself right Tampa."
The silence returned that was very unsettling to Anya, as she has never really argued with her parents before...Not like that, no. Anya turned the doorknob, pushing it in and stepping out into the hall. Her head turned to see Tampa walking down the hallway towards his room while his father stood there watching. The king turned around and jumped a bit once he saw Anya right next to the door of the room that she stayed in, "O-Oh, good morning Miss Anya... How long were you standing there?".
"Mm...I didn't see anything. But I did hear the argument that woke me up.”
“I apologize for waking you Miss Anya, is there anything I can do for you?” The king asked with a look of remorse on his face.
The noblewoman shook her head before proceeding to the throne room where a young, cow-printed viscet was standing. He had a nervous yet angry look on his face as she headed down the stairs. "Anastasia! Wait!"
Her head whipped around to see Tampa on the top step, looking at her with slight concern. "Pardon me, but may I have a word with you?" he asked, glancing at Justin. The cow-printed viscet let out a huff of annoyance, "Jeez Tampa, whatever you need to say to your mate you can say it in front of me."
"Justin- shut your trap, she isn't my mate."
So this was the Justin that Tampa was talking about during the garden party? Anya brought a paw up under her chin and she thought about something that would probably be not so nice of her.
"Oh really then? Well, it doesn't matter, I knew that you wouldn't fall for a noblewoman like her." Justin smirked as he checked his claws for any dirt. Tampa rushed down the stairs and started to bicker back and forth, with threats to and from the prince. As they were arguing, thunder sounded, shaking the castle just a bit. Anya was a bit nervous about it since she wouldn't be able to return home if it's going to storm. Her eyes wandered back over to the two who continued to argue despite the current circumstances.
Thunder sounded once more which heavy downfall followed after, causing the argument to die down a little. It was Tampa first to fully stop talking. Justin turned his head up a bit to look at the glass ceiling, "Great, it looks like I'm not able to make it home, thanks to your stubborn behavior.". Tampa looked at him in shock and let out an unusual hiss, "Excuse me? I don't care if you make it home due the storm! The most of my concern is that Anastasia cannot get home due to the storm!"
"Now, is it my fault for letting a foreigner in?"
The prince grunted and slapped Justin, surprising the three of them. Justin looked at the prince and rudely waved a paw in front of him before heading up the stairs, making his way down to the guest rooms- as if he knew where they are. "Now vas that really necessary?" Anya hummed bitterly.
Tampa ignored her and just walked off.

The next few days, it continued to storm, getting worse and worse every minute. There was not much of a break, which worried the townsfolk that it was going to flood, and if it did then they couldn't really survive due to the low and bleak land formation and their close proximity to the ocean- who knows what that would bring in. This was brought to the king's attention, which he allowed the townsfolk to reside in the castle until the storm had passed.
During this whole ordeal, Tampa and Justin were still at each other's throats, mainly arguing about their pasts. It seemed to the noblewoman that their differences would never be put aside, even in this type of weather. Which of course made her a bit aggravated, but she remembered to keep her cool while here, as she didn't want to be sent overseas in this mess. Sighing, Anastasia trudged back into the room that she was currently sharing with two viscling twins.
---
A couple of weeks passed and the storm hasn't passed. Tampa and Justin didn't cease arguing, and the noblewoman was beginning to feel homesick. She was like this for the last two days as she didn't move out of bed, and whenever she was out of the room, her movements were noticeably slow, which it raised a few concerns by some of the common folk, nobles, the king's herald and the king himself.
Whenever they tried to speak to Anastasia, she would just reply in a sad tone, muttering something barely audible. But they knew what she wanted, but they also knew that they couldn't just send her out on a ship in a storm like this. Besides, how would they? the village was flooded.
"Stop following me, Justin! It's like you are trying to backstab me like you did three years ago!"
Everyone's head raised and turned over towards the prince and the commoner by the name of Justin Winston, fellow crook. He was well known in the town, but he hasn't really done any real harm to them. But it seems he had done something to hurt the prince in a way that they will not understand.
"Well, it's kinda hard if I'm going this way to get a book. And I didn't backstab you, I don't see any markings to prove that I did." Justin replied back.
Tampa whipped around and clawed at Justin's face, which Justin got back at him by snapping at his arm.
Seeing this made Anya snap. And not in a very good way. "Vill you two just stop!" the noblewoman screeched. All went silent. Justin, having his jaws locked at Tampa's neck, glanced up at her. Tampa, obviously couldn't turn to his side and see the disgruntled look on her face.
"All you have done is argue all this time. Aren't you aware that the whole village has been flooded? Do you two even have any common knowledge to not fight around guests? Everyone, including me, has been watching and listening to you argue like five-year-olds over spilled milk.". Anya looked at Tampa and shook her head, "And you, I am mostly disappointed in you. You have promised me that I would meet Justin. Tis obvious that this is the way that I didn't want to meet him with you two bickering back and forth. And literally at each other's throats."
Justin let go of Tampa and just stood there. Tampa scrambled up to his feet and stood by Justin, with an apologetic look on his face. They both tried to apologize to her, but the noblewoman stopped them with a wave of her hand, "Forget it you two. I am upset. All you can do is apologize to each other."
And with that, she had walked away and into her room, now isolated.
---
Everything was calm around the castle. Except with a few rebuttles here and there, but nothing too serious. Tampa and Justin got along by playing friendly games such as chess or draughts..which weren't always so friendly, but they stopped once they remembered Anastasia's words.
The storm had calmed down a little, but not enough to the point where it was safe for the villagers to return home. There were strong winds, which were strong enough to pick up vislings and full grown viscets up and off to another part of the kingdom. And there was the village- the village streets were still flooded.
Ross and the king had taken note that Anya locked herself in the room that she was staying in, so they went and checked on her every now and then, to make sure she was doing okay ever since the foul outburst that made her more upset, but this time at herself.
---
Another week has passed and there were some signs of the storm calming down. Tampa, at this point, was neutral towards Justin, which Justin was the name towards the prince. Yet they still haven't apologized to each other. They would prefer to do it when Anastasia was around so they didn't have to prove it to her that they actually apologized.
So the prince and crook walked down the halls, glancing nervously at each other, wondering if she was okay in the first place. She hasn't come out of her room for anything. Which raised the concerns higher. Especially now as the two had stopped to see that the king and the family's herald was knocking on the door more than once and calling out her name. They stopped and waited for a response that didn't sound.
Tampa looked at the floor in remorse, as this was his fault in the first place, so he pushed past his father and knocked on the door, "Anya? Look...Justin and I are sorry for acting like five-year-olds and we just want you to come out to see if you are doing okay. The storm has calmed down and Justin and I made amends and promise not to fight during the duration of your stay...Nor ever. So please come out?"
There wasn't a response from her, only silence. Tampa sighed before pushing away from the door and heading over back to where Justin was standing. But just as he did, the door swung open. Anya looked at the two and smiled softly, "I forgive you. Vut you still have a lot of people to apologize to."
The prince turned around and looked over towards the side, nodding slightly before heading over towards the pulpit that hovered over the two remaining thrones. He cleared his throat and gathered everyone's attention, "Good afternoon, I Prince Tampa hereby apologize for my foolish actions that led to the discomfort and unease amongst everyone. Especially to my father and Miss Anya, along with Justin."
Everyone remained silent before going back to their own thing. Tampa returned to them and shrugged. Justin smirked, "At least you tried."
"Yeah, at least I did." Tampa chuckled as he looked over to the side.
"Vell, looks like the storm is clearing up- I can probably leave within the next day or two." Anya butted in, trying to lighten up the moon, which wasn't really taken lightly by the crook and the prince, but they didn't bother as their heads raised to see the rain become lighter. And before you know it, it was over. The grey and gloomy clouds parted, allowing the sun to shine through the glass ceiling. Joyous chatter filled the castle as the five came down the steps.
---
Once the village was restored and the RMS Clayoquot was docked at the docks, Tampa, Justin, the king and the family's herald walked with Anya, chatting amongst themselves.
"What a storm!" Ross exclaimed, yawning.
"I know, it was a bit destructive, but we are able to fix it." The king replied as he turned to Anya who was laughing softly. "Yes, it was quite a storm indeed. It possibly awoke by Tampa's and Justin's arguing. And subsided when they apologized to each other... But I might ve a little crazy." she giggled.
"Heh, it doesn't seem farfetched." Justin mused as he tilted his head a little.
The five laughed until it was time for Anya to board the ship back to Russia. She turned and looked over towards Tampa and Justin, "Vell, it was a pleasure meeting you two- all of you actually. Maybe we'll meet again- I could show you around my village if you decide to visit... However, just do me one favor."
"What is it?" both Tampa and Justin asked in unison.
"Don't make me send another storm your way."
The four of them flinched and looked at each other before looking at Anya, nodding as if agreeing to what she had said. The noblewoman smiled and headed onto the ship, turning and waving at them. They waved back until the ship departed.
Tampa was a bit disgruntled by her leave, Justin was a bit pitiful of the prince but he didn't want to have to comfort him as he was trying to decipher on what the noblewoman had said. But he couldn't quite figure it out.
No one would know the truth that the Russian noblewoman, Anastasia Lockheart was the one who caused the storm because of the crook's and the prince's dispute with each other. But why flood the village and endanger the lives of the village folk of the Seaside Kingdom? That is a question, my friend, for another day.
