On Eagle’s first patrol as an apprentice, he encountered a fox in its den. Though Cricket tried to stop it from attacking, and eventually drove it off, Eagle was left blinded by its scratches.

Eagle has a multitude of small scars on his face from the fox’s attack. A claw-mark on his cheek has mostly faded, but the most noticeable scars are the two jagged scratches across both of his eyes. Diagonal in form, they meet at the bridge of his nose, and the left scar continues onto the nose itself.
