Being a tabby like my Cotton, I was definitely going to make him dun to get some primitive markings (i.e.) stripes in there. Now because he's a black-based tabby I was going to make him grullo, but there was quite a bit of brown in fur. The solution: seal brown dun! It was the perfect blend of near-black and brown to capture Oreo's coat colour. I decided to go with minimal splash to give him his belly, face and leg markings. Like with my Cotton, I scaled the position of his leg markings in relation to bone position, so some of the markings might appear a little stretched (I did manage to get his moustache in too!) And of course I had to go with Icelandic Horse for the breed. Seeing it on your list as one of your favourite breeds and Oreo being a Norwegian Forest Cat mix, it made sense to make him a Nordic breed. It also allowed me to give him tonnes of floof, hopefully bringing life to your gorgeous little boy!
