Oh I absolutely love how it came out!!
I just sent payment and will absolutely claim it!! Let me think on a name!
Edit:
I have come up with a name!
Name: Linden
Gender: Female
I also wrote a bit of a story of how Prairie came by this egg!
----------------------------------------------
Prairie sat down, wondering what would come next. He had traveled as far as he could and was left staring at a blank coast. He leaned back against the tree and closed his eyes, taking in the breeze and resting. It was strange how sore he felt once he had remained stationary for so long. When he did finally go to get up, all his joints cracked and he knelt by the tree preparing to get up on his creaky legs. That's when he saw it. Tangled up in the roots of the tree he was sitting in was a small egg. He peered closer at it and realized it was a viscet egg with greens and purples marking up the white coloration.
Prairie unwrapped the roots from the egg and studied it closely. It seemed like it had been there in the roots for an awfully long time and he gazed around. There were no tracks around the tree besides his own, and in the soft sand anything would leave a mark. He found it strange that this egg just seemed to appear next to him, no sign of the parents. Prairie rubbed the shell a bit and then looked at the tree once more.
He knew what kind of tree this was. Well at least he thought he did. Now what was it again. Lindor? No. Lindent? No. Ugh, what was that name? That's when the egg started moving and cracking in his paws. He set it down gently and watched as it broke open and a small little muzzle poked out. Prairie watched the little viscet stretch weakly from the egg and smiled.
"Linden." Prairie said out loud, looking at the child by his feet. A name suited for the little one.
----------------------------------
I am thinking Linden is sort of a nature sprite or something but I will have to figure that out more later on. If you have an ideas then let me know on pm!!
