Name (additional show name is optional): Woodstock’s Miss Skyla Blue “skyla”
Picture/link to picture of pet: tough day out
actual day out
shes a clinger
i laugh too loud for her
Favourite breeds: American Warmblood, National Show Horse, Salernitano
Extra info?:
personality: out of our three dogs at my house near school, skyla is all mine. while she loves everyone in the house i am the one she shadows and sleeps with and prefers to be around. she’s got a bit of a goofy personality seeing as you never know what you’ll really get. for the most part she is calm and wants to be as close to you as possible, often sleepy or cuddly. during that time if I happen to lay down my body will soon become her pillow and I will no longer have the idea that is personal space or even the ability to breathe! other times she’s like an ADHD dog on some type of upper. she does the pittie run up and down the hall and around the wall that partitions the main part of our open floor plan often slamming into our other dogs or narrowly dodging obstacles.

Now, deciding on her base coat was HHAAAAAAAARRRRRRRDDDDDD!!! I wanted to make her a blue roan at first, but the face on a roan is too dark to match Skyla's face, and making her grulla had a similar issue attached. I then went for classic champagne, but that made the coat too brown and she'd lose her pretty blue-grey coat. No matter which dilution I went for nothing seemed to work, until I came across pictures of darker dapple grey horses. Sure, they had dapples, but the shade of grey across the body was similar, just like Skyla! I still made her a roan beneath is all, so even beneath her grey cot she's still a pretty dilute. As for the breed I was almost tempted to make her an American Warmblood, but it occur ed to me that I haven't made a National Show Horse in a while and they're such a beautiful breed- what a good choice to put on your form! I hope I did Skyla some justice for you deary!

The mane ate her neck marking (part of her splash), but it's still there. Also it was nice to try and work on some more flowy edits as opposed to the wilder ones I normally do. Thank you so much for letting me do this, my beloved Schmurr! I hope I did you and the little sweetie proud!!!

I hope that you like her deary! ^u^ <3
