Extra info?: Snowbell is a super sweet little kitty who loves to cuddle. She became quite fierce, though, when she had kittens! We got her and her sister when her namesake, Snowball, was killed by dogs. One of her quirks is that she loves to eat the delicate pink flowers from the tree in our yard. When our dog was younger, she loved to play with Snowbell, but she was really aggressive. Snowbell's sister wouldn't let the dog near her, but Snowbell would go limp and just let the dog drag her around! I miss her a lot since I went to college.

Deciding on Snowbell's base coat was interesting. Like my cat Cotton she's a a tabby, so in the same way she needed to be dun to get some striping in there. I almost made her dunalino to get that pale cream coat, but none of the reference photos seemed light enough. However photos of gold champagne dun horses did seem light enough, so I went with that instead. Of course that did limit my breed choices down to American breeds only (since the champagne gene doesn't really occur in non-American breeds), but since you stated that you liked Mustangs it made things possible! Now for her white spotting I almost went with tobiano, but decided to go with splash since her spotting is concentrated on her belly I went with splash. So yeah, Snowbell's turned into a little gene bomb- neat!!! <3

I might have to post a non-shiny version if you want to see her tobiano markings- the champagne shiny kinda consumed them... XD

Anyhoo, Snowbell's such a pretty kitty! I can understand why you miss her so much being at college. I certainly missed my Cotton living away from home! I hope I was able to do this beautiful bean some justice! <3
