"but there was this one time when i was apprentice where a badger invaded the training area," the she-cat took a breath and closed her eyes before continuing. "i was scared out of my mind but i had to keep myself composed and calm so i got as big as i could and got into that badger's face long enough to distract it so the mentors had a chance to realize what was happening and come up with a plan," the warrior said with a sigh. "i was so afraid but that badger surely didn't know that," she said with a long chuckle.

"𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐞."

"i like to tell this one to all the kits repeatedly," mousestep said with a large smile. "my mother would tell me this while i was growing up and it inspired me more every single time she told me it," she said, remembering all the sweet memories of her mother.
"this saying shaped me to become the cat i am today and i am so glad that i can be who i want to be without worrying about ridicule from others," nodded mousestep.

"ah, hearing this one helped me get through a lot of tough training sessions while i was still under apprenticeship with my mentor," mousestep said with a chuckle as she remembered the stressful times of being an apprentice. "there was this one training session that i remember very vividly: i was having such a tough time getting this battle move down, like honest to starclan it took my about five different sessions before i finally figured it out," mousestep told, taking a breath before continuing. "i did not get the move until i repeatedly told myself 'you will never know your strength until you face your struggles' which is what my father told me when he found out about my struggle."
