These two were dropped off by an owner who simply couldn't handle their crazy antics. While we took them in, the shelter certainly learned why their previous owner called them "Pink Houdinis". They somehow sneak out of their kennel when we aren't looking, rile up the other pets in the other kennels and steal various items from the staff (especially food). Certainly someone can find a way to handle these kids.

Pyra's favourite object -obviously- is his little toy based off the Egyptian Bastet Cat. It looks like this and he will take it with him everywhere he goes! He carries it to the vet, to his bed, around the house... name a place - he's taken it!
The reason he loves it so much is because it's the last thing he remembers of his last home - he used to live with a little family, in a little house, with a little girl.
The girl loved him to bits and gave him the little toy to play with - but late one night, when the owners were all asleep, the house lit on fire and once Pyramid got out, it was too late.
After the fireman had come and put out the fire, Pyra went back into the ruin to look for his people, but to no avail.
After looking for them he found the little toy the girl had given to him, the little funky-looking cat toy.
He picked it up and, casting one last glance over his shoulder, left behind all he had known.
Relations with Denim, Chance and Zephyr
Denim:
Denim is very nice, she's a lovely cat! She can be quite skittish sometimes though, which can annoy me - I'll pop out of nowhere and for some reason she'll absolutely flip!
Chance:
Oh, don't get me started on this fur-ball - he's so goofy! He's way too friendly and I doubt he knows what personal space is! Although, I guess he isn't that bad.
Zephyr:
He's almost as bad as Chance! Although, luckily this lil' fella keeps his distance. He is super chatty though, and super energized. Who knows why someone thought having Chance AND Zephyr was a good idea...

Prompt: Bao's most treasured item is actually something he shares willingly with his brother, Babalu.
It's something the two hold more closely than anything they've ever stolen and refuse to let anyone touch.
But for Bao this item is more valuable than any treat or pat can manage.
It was their first owner's. He wrapped them in it after finding them, cold and shivering on a terrible winter night.
The two kittens had been abandoned but he had found them coincidentally right on time.
Bao only remembers glimpses of that night, remembers his brother's prodding and worried mews as he had slowly started to fall asleep. But the warmth of their owner's heating blanket had brought him back and he found it was far better to sleep in the warmth of the house than the cold of the snow or a box. The heating blanket, however, became something for him and his brother to share. It was old and as Bao and Babalu got older, it became nothing more than a scrap of cloth.
When under it, despite the age, it makes him feel just like a tiny kitten, warm and safe. Now, whenever he craves that feeling, he crawls under the blankets with ease while his brother keeping watch.
