Lief is a sweet lad who loves all plants and flowers more then anything, even more then most people love sweets. He loves being around wild flowers and place that once summer comes to a end he gets very upset, this last all fall and winter till the first bloom starts to show then he's warm smile comes back and he can go back to doing what he loves.. collecting flowers for his scarp book and making flower crowns for all his friends and himself to wear. He also has a jar of clovers he owns though he's still looking for that elusive four-leafed clover for his collection.

favourite spring activity: there's a spot near where peridi likes to call home where tons of little songbirds gather in the day, hopping around in the thistly plants and chirping, and he loves to simply watch them flutter about. unfortunately, in the winter, the plants wilt underneath the heavy blankets of snow and the birds disappear; however, they return right around spring, when the plants are green and able to stand upright again. this makes for per's favorite springtime activities, which is watering the plants and hanging around to sketch and feed the little birds he loves.

Spring is the time when Finley is most self-aware, taking care of both his mind and body, much like the season itself.
