How do they feel about the New Year?:

Personally I love the new year, it's full of new things to come. Then you get to try so many different things, plus another year to do whatever you want. Still, it isn't all wonderful, I mean you have to deal with all of the bad things that happen as well, which isn't fun at all either. Plus a lot of people just love to drink and party around on New Year's Day, so in reality, it's just kind of a little crazy. That and you can spend time with family, which my family can be wonderful or a pain in my tail. Still, I love to try all of the new things that I never got to do the year before! My only really big issue is that I don't understand the making a goal too much. Why make a new goal that you need to complete every year? I mean it's kind of stupid to come up with something that takes a year to do, maybe something easier. It's just really confusing to me why humans would do such things.

Favorite Sweet Treat + Why:

Many Cats love human food as they think it is much better than our own food, which I wouldn't disagree, but personally, I just can't stand them as treats, so my human makes me my own treats, which are wonderful! A lot of cats I know don't typically like some hard cat treats, as they hurt teeth, but being that I'm different from most, I like hard cat treats! These treats are a huge mess, but that just makes it so much better when it comes to clean up, plus they have one of my favorite things in them. Tuna! They have a nice crunch to them, making them even better, plus they don't take long to make. They have a nice tangy fish favor to them, plus the adding of the parsley gives it a nice sort of earthy taste to them, pretty good if I do say so.

What is their opinion on Amaryllis?:

Personally, I love my sister, but what brother wouldn't love their sister? She is very calm and helpful, something I can't really relate to or help out with at all. Still, she can get kind of crazy with her cleaning routine, so I tend to typically just stay away during these times. Amar is a wonderful sister even thought of her cleaning quirk, even when she acts like a mother to me,
even though I'm kind of a child in a grown body. I think the only issue I have with her is her family, well the family at the cafe she lives in. I never really understood why she would mate with such a grump of a cat? Seriously I don't quite understand the male,
maybe if I ever got to know him, but I just never really knew him too well. Then you have the one large orange male, who I don't really understand too well, more like I don't even know his name. Still, I only don't really get her family, maybe if I ever get to know them, then maybe I could get along, but otherwise I might only vist a few times.

✿ How do they feel about the New Year?:

The New Year? Well, to be completely honest, I just don't understand it all that much. So much fuss over one "special" day? For me, it's just another day, but I guess for humans and even some other animals it's something to make a big deal over. I guess it's the whole thing with New Year resolutions. How it's a mark to people of them trying to improve themselves as another year passes. In my opinion, you should constantly be trying to do that. You shouldn't need a specific date in order to try to become a better person.


✾ Favorite Sweet Treat & Why:


Sure, I like the treats designed for cats, but they don't compare to my top pick. I love yogurt, specifically mango-flavored. It's a rare treat for me, because while all cats get an upset stomach from too much dairy, I can't take much of it at all, but that doesn't keep me from liking it. I love the texture of it - almost like cream, but thicker. It's also got such a heavenly scent, and the scent just adds to the wonderful flavor. I have no clue what mango is - my human's just told me that's what the flavor is - but it sure does taste nice.



✿ What is their opinion on Amaryllis?:


Well, I mean, she's my sister. It's simple. I love her. When we were young kittens, we tended to have a couple silly little squabbles over who knows what, but we never truly fought and we had a much better relationship than most who had siblings. I relied and leaned on Amaryllis quite a lot - almost a bit too much, at times. I went to her when I needed to let things off my chest, and I became so dependent on those conversations that whenever she wasn't around to talk, I didn't really know how to deal with myself. It got better as we got older, although I would still go to her pretty often, for both support and just for company sometimes. During times where we only had each other, we stuck together. We've always been incredibly close, and although we haven't been in contact as much ever since we were adopted by two different people, we still meet often and there hasn't been a change in our relationship. I think we'll be keeping it that way.

How do they feel about the New Year?: amaranthe isn't too keen on new year. why? one word. fireworks. amaranthe hates fireworks and even the thought seems to stress him out. if you took the fireworks out of new year, i don't think amaranthe would bat an eyelash to the holiday. to him, it's another day - a noisy one at that.
Favorite Sweet Treat + Why: cat friendly ice cream. he once caught a taste of real ice cream and as delicious as it was, it's very unhealthy for cats. from now on, amaranthe opts for cat-friendly ice cream, instead. its both sweet and nutricious: a perfect combination in his eyes.
What is their opinion on Amaryllis?: amaranthe loves amaryllis with all his heart, though he never seems to be able to get it across as well as he wished he could. he's a typical brother - he'll nag, but deep down, its out of love.

How do they feel about the New Year?:Alethea could truly care less about the new year, from her. Pessimistic point of view. She thinks people just use it as a reason to get drunk. She does admire some lore of Chinese New Year, though.
Favorite Sweet Treat + Why: Alethea finds joy in vanilla ice cream. Chocolate is of course forbidden. But she enjoys the sweet cold of vanilla. It takes her to her happy place, even if she is very pessimistic.
What is their opinion on Amaryllis?: Alethea thinks she is quite more of a mother than sibling (?). She does not like when she takes over situations. Especially if Alethea is handeling them perfectly fine. Though, when her sister is more laid back, she will occasionally groom her or play with her tail. Don’t tell Alethea I told you. But I know she secretly likes her sister. Even if she comes off as pessimistic.

How do they feel about the New Year?: To Lyc, it's rather exciting. He's a big lover of the holidays, especially Valentines. The new year means his favorite holiday is right around the corner !
Favorite Sweet Treat + Why: Lycocris loves licorice, actually ! The sweet tang of the strawberry with the chewy texture of the candy is nothing less than heaven to him. He mainly loves the texture and the apperance of such long sticks of candy, but the strawberry flavor certainly is a bonus.
What is their opinion on Amaryllis?: Lyc tries to be the protective brother, however it seems that Amar seems to hold the order of protection and dominance in most cases. Amar is a very flight orientated cat, and very rarely holds his ground. His lack of cleanliness clashes with Amar's order of neatness, however at this point he does it merely to be a nuisance and irritate his sister affectionately. He enjoys the attention that comes with the grooming, and he couldn't be more ecstatic when he's around her. She provides him with a sense of calmness that makes his smile. It's no doubt he'd do anything for his fellow sibling, unless he's napping. Nobody comes between a cat and his naps !
