Second Chance Shelter is a dog and cat rescue where you can come to find a new member of your family. We rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes so they may have the chance to be placed into a caring home. How she ended up at scs: She was walking down a sidewalk alone at night. An elderly woman saw her and thought she was a mountain lion, due to the fact she didn't have very good eyesight, and she didn't have her glasses on either. She called animal control, who were very shocked to get the call of a mountain lion sighting. When they arrived at the scene, they saw a big dog eating out of a little old lady's garbage. After clearing up the matter, they all had a good laugh but unfortunately no one could take Kawani home so they left her at the shelter.
