History
As a young child Nasrin always felt she was alone in the world. So she turned to books. She had a craving for adventure, and nothing could stop it. She got into a lot of trouble because of her adventurous side. She became much smarter than the kids in her school, and she always felt out of place. When she was forced to move away, she was glad. Moving to a small town wasn’t any better, but she needed a new sense of adventure. Once moved she began to grow distant with her mother as she had forgotten what counted most in a family. She was close to her adopted father though and would have done anything for him. When she and her sister heard that he wasn’t able to come back home the next day he left Nasrin went out searching for him. She knew he wanted to be home with his children, even if they were adopted. As she walked day turned to night and only caused her to get lost. She searched the night and found a castle-like building, and as tired as she was she didn’t believe it would be wise to turn back. Once she got to the doors she was welcomed in by the harshness it gave out, and she was soon locked away by the owner of the home. Her name was Sylailia and Nasrin noticed how off she seemed, having only a neutral almost angered expression at all times. Slowly, with Nasrin still being “locked away,” Sylailia began to open up a bit more, and Nasrin learned the many things that her capturer had gone through. After a while, Nasrin began to feel different around her, and she soon realized she started to fall for Sylailia. She didn’t understand it at first but knew that it was true, but suddenly despair had struck her. Sylailia had to leave to protect what she needed to most, but no matter how much Nasrin begged Sylailia still left. As Nasrin slept she left and the only thing left behind was a note and a map to get back home. Once Nasrin got home, she was met with her worried father and her sister, and everything went back to normal. Except Nasrin had become different. Instead of being that happy and overexcited kit she had become calmer. She still reads her many adventures, but she always remembers back to her own with the one she loved. She will never forget her true first adventure full of hope and love.

Personality
Being brought into the world with the family she had it was hard for her. Her mother had lost her memory of most of the family life which caused Nasrin to become more independent. Once she began to read her books, she developed a personality that almost mirrored that of the characters in those stories. As she developed, she talked to her adoptive father and told him all the adventures that she “went on.” She tried to become dependent on him, but never could so she decided she would try to be as dependent as she could be. Growing up reading those books allowed her imagination to run wild and so this caused her life to be an infinite search for adventure and anything she could do to be daring in any way. She grew up pure and selfless and only wanted to be kind to others and make friends, but as she grew she began to lose hope. She started to think that she will always be an outcast, but after Nasrin had met Sylailia, she realized that she wasn’t alone. Over the few weeks of staying by Sylailia’s side, she grew happier knowing that she would have never had an adventure such as that one. After all the things she went through Nasrin grew knowing that she wasn’t the same as before and she would never change anything that had happened because it only made her life more beautiful and perfect. She learned how to love truly, even if it was a requited love, but she also knows that kindness can help change a person for the better. She will never change what she has learned, and she will never want to go back into the past to change what had happened because she knows that it was the best thing that ever occurred in her life.

Jumping from her bed, Nasrin gasped for air. Sweating from her struggle to wake up as tears soaked her face, she quickly wiped them away and stood up in her small room. The sun had barely come up, and she needed to take care of the animal chores. As she walked out of her home and into the cool morning air, she took a deep breath and sadly sighed. Saying hello to Barley, the cat that seemed to follow her around, she picked up a bucket in order to feed the chickens. Once she finished her chores, she walked back to her house and sat down to watch the sunrise with Barley. She sadly smiled as she thought of her time with Sylailia and quickly looked away from the rising sun. Nasrin jumped up quickly and went to go make breakfast like she had always done before. She thought of the castle she had lived at for that short time until she was forced to leave. She remembered reading all the books from around the world in that large library and sighed quietly. She seemed to sigh a lot lately, but it was ever since she got back from her temporary home. Once she had made breakfast, she quickly ate and left the rest for her family to eat. She quickly ran outside once again and behind the house coming up to a maze-like garden. It was full of roses, and she softly smiled as she walked in to take care of each flower she grew. As she calmly took care of each flower and checked for any disease, she kept getting flashbacks to her time in her temporary home. She quickly shook her head and stood up as she finished checking her rose garden. She raced into her room to change from her dirtied clothes and into a light yellow sundress. The yellow seemed almost to glow a slight gold as she moved in the sun and it made her smile as she twirled around in it. Once she had finished dancing around, she ran to the library in her town and checked for any new books. She finally found the newest book in the library, that she hadn't read yet, and asked the librarian if she could take it home. As they answered yes, she grinned and raced off quickly to start the new book and she knew where she would read it. As she finally sat down in her rose garden she opened the book. The title read Poems For The Heart: Love and Heartache, and she rolled her eyes as she groaned, "Of course it has to be about love and heartache." She sighed and turned to the first poem, and it grabbed her attention until she realized she was on the 25th poem in the book. After the first 30 or so poems, she was about to close the book for the day until one poem had caught her eye.

Heartache's Warrior
The thoughts that are pulled together,
Seemed to go on forever.
The hope in their eyes,
Only seemed to die with all the lies.

My heartbreak tears at me,

After reading the poem, it seemed to her a bit like an unfinished story, and she had wanted to know what happened next. Did they get together? Who was the author and why did they write it? Who did they write it too? All these questions ran through her mind, and she quickly realized why she had thought that first thought. She knew she fell in love with Sylailia, but she didn't want to say anything and look where that had gotten her. She thought of what could have happened and sighed happily.

A single tear fell down her face, and she quickly wiped it away. She knew that nothing could happen between them because she knew Sylailia had never wanted her in that way. Swallowing hard, she closed the book slowly and stood up wanting to forget what she had thought. Why hadn't she been able to stop her from leaving? Why was she never good enough at persuading her loved ones? Why didn't she tell Sylailia that she had loved her? Nasrin froze. Love. She had never actually told herself that she loved Sylailia. "I...I love Sylailia." She spoke softly and held herself tight as she shut her eyes forcing the tears to fall from her overflowing eyes. "I wasn't able to stop her, but please tell me she is okay. I love her so much." The day had come to an end by the time she had stopped crying, and she quickly stood up and watched the sunset. As she smiled softly, she realized that Sylailia will always hold a dear place in her heart and will always come back, even if it wasn't back to her. Nasrin knew she would never stop loving Sylailia, but she also knows that she would be able to move on after she had finally accepted herself. "I love you, and I will never stop. Please be safe." She then walked off to go and cook dinner. She was starving as she had forgotten to eat lunch. Once she had eaten, she got ready for bed and sat in her room quietly. One last time she looked up at the night sky and watched the stars, "Don't forget about me. I will always be here, waiting." With that, she fell asleep and dreamed of what could have been, and her sleeping face seemed almost to glow as she smiled happily.
