Halloween Qirum #2 - Pumpkin

Whilst searching through the pumpkin
patches, farmers discovered this strange Qirum
wandering about the plants, but they fled from
his terrible smile and carved eyes.

To win this Qirum, tell me how they feel about
their odd mouth and eye.

Qirums are beautiful unicorn-like creatures that initially were born
from forbidden bonds between dragons and horses, but eventually
evolved in a completely new race more similar to horses with some
dragon features like horns, scales, unusual tails. For a long time Qirums
were hiding in the caves, fearing humans and other creatures; caves
that were full of gems and precious stones changed the appearance
and genes of Qirums, making them more reminiscent of the gemstones
hidden in the specific caves.
Qirums never dare to harm any living thing. They appear in the areas
where changes are needed, they bring justice, good luck, a good harvest.
Flowers usually grow where Qirums set hooves. Qirums are very lightweight
and can jump quite high and literally "float" above the lands. They are
very kind, wise, and beautiful species. If you see a Qirum that left its
cave (which they rarely do) – then be prepared that your life will
change in a most wonderful way.

Jack is actually rather proud of his strange look,
he loves to terrify others and it helps, plus who doesn't love to be scared
sometimes? He's never actually found it to be much of a problem other then
maybe when it comes to trying to finding a possible mate but he's not too
worried about all that right now, he just wants to have fun scaring others and
who knows maybe one day in the pumpkin patches he'll find someone who catches
his eye..

Originally, Casper though of his face being a horrible thing.
It must have been if it scared people away.
Which was a lonely thing, since all he wanted was to find someone who'd play with.
One day though, he decided to not allow himself wallow in self-pity.
He would change something thought as bad to something good.
Scary might not be the only option for his face.
What if....what if he could make it funny instead?
Laughter after all was far better than screams.
And so he practiced making faces to himself in the water until he could make himself laugh.
From then on, he came to like his face.
