personality;; Regulus is very shy. He tends to spook easy and needs reassurance and patient others. He likes to try things out and try new things even if it does bother him. When he is comfortable though, he's playful and a little sassy. As much as he can be a goofball and all for any antics, he does still worry about going too far or upsetting anyone. A true gentle soul, he is caring and good-natured but not a pushover. He is willing to stand up for himself but tends to do so with humour and sass.

Regulus meets Pyxis, Take 1

Everyone in the herd had a friend: Castor had Pollux, Betelgeuse had Calvera, and Bellatrix had herself (which was plenty), so naturally Pyxis was thrilled at a new addition to the herd. Despite xis partial deafness, xe chirped and sang all morning out of excitement. When the blue taffy stallion showed up, the piebald immediately went over to say hi.
"Hey there! I'm Pyxis and I wanted to say welcome to your new home! What's your name?"
Regulus was frozen by fear as this strange chry walked right up to him and introduced ximself. Unable to say a word, he stared back feeling awkward. He was worried he'd offended the piebald but instead xe seemed to grow more excited.
"Are you deaf too!?" xe asked enthusiastically.
Feeling slightly relieved that he wasn't deterring xim right away but more so cause now xe thought he was deaf, he feverishly shook his head.
"Mute?"
Shake, shake, shake.
"Just can't talk?"
Regulus nodded feverishly in response, glad xe was willing to be patient with him. He nodded so hard he felt a pull in his neck and winced, "ow..."
"Nice to meet you, ow!" Pyxis joked. They both looked at each other before bursting out into laughter, howling and snorting across the yard. With all the awkward giggles out of the way, both felt much more relaxed and fast friends were made.

"Hey Regulus, did you and Pyxis get into the mud patch again?"

halwick, or, as he prefers to be called, hallow, is a cocky, full of himself mustang that believes he is the king of the world. he is fairly stuck up, and loves to boss minorities around. with that and his constant playfulness, he is a recipe for disaster. yo others, hallow comes off as rude and unpleasant, and they do not like to be around him. but when you really get to know him, although he may sometimes put himself before you, he is a very fun, sweet horse. he is extremely tall and stocky, with broad shoulders and long legs. that only contributes to his ability to take people by surprise and scare them. and although sometimes he can be clumsy, he is generally very light-footed. he has learned to control his loud clip-clops after he decided it was very fun to sneak up on people.

story;;
in the freezing morning air, the large stallion's breath left steaming imprints against the sky. his hooves crunched through the brittle leaves coated i frost on the ground, and his long tail swished back and forth through the thin layer of ice. staring into his electric yellow eyes, i awaited his answer. when he spoke, his voice was gravelly, a deep rumble against the small forest sounds.
"who are you that wants to know what i'm like? i'm not any other racehorse or a horse that spends all of their time under lead. i am a wild horse, a mustang. and you are asking about me? darling, where have you been for the past ten years.? no one, not even another mustang, asks me what i'm like. either you know me beforehand, or you learn it yourself." he eyes you, then smirks. "get lost, kid. you have no place here among the wild horses."
you frown, and he notices. his laugh is as rumbly as his voice but louder. at his laughter, you frown deeper. advancing towards him, you threaten him with capture.
the stallion stops laughing and raises one eyebrow. dancing on his hooves, the corner of his lip curls up.
"darlin'... you think you can catch this?" he gives a triumphant laugh as he dances out of your reach, his muscles rippling in his back with each stride. you grind your teeth at his playful behaviour, starting tp get a bit annoyed at his actions. but, not wanting him to laugh at you again, you keep it inside.
the tall horse disappears from sight, walking behind a tall cluster of trees. you wait to see him peek back out again... but he doesn't. straining your ears, you listen for the sound of footsteps, but there is only silence. you sigh. it seems he wasn't worth the-
WOAH!
you feel something underneath you as you are lifted up into the air! looking down, you see the playful stallions bright eyes as he sticks his head underneath your pants and slides you to his back. he calls back to you, playfully starting to prance-trot, "how's this for 'personality'?" he laughs, and speeds up into a canter. you frantically reach forward and grab a fistful of his pretty mane. (378/500 words)

When you look at her the first thing you notice is her luminous mane. At the start you could think of a delicate and precious wine, fading into a more orange almost pumkin-like color that make you laugh a little. But as the Chrysaora probably heard you, she suddently lift her head and look around with a not really concerned look. But you stay still, we never know, she seems so surreal so much you find her beautiful that you're afraid she could run away and never to be seen again. You continue your quiet observation of the mare, noticing her sharp eyes, the color definitely making you think of an majestic owl. Then you notice the fiery unders, a really pretty color, almost like a burning fire covered with a bright, pure snow. Again, your thoughts make you laugh when you imagine the handsome mare, proud of her coat, galloping and rolling in the fresh snow and not being able to withdraw it off of her hair after that. And ... what If you were right ?

She is a very sociable mare, she loves to go cool off and play in the water with others when tsunamis rage in the "outside world". One could even say that was her favorite period. Her pack usually settles 24 to 28 hours in a small clearing sheltering a magnificent waterfall surrounded by pretty flowers coming to overflow their roots of good minerals and water.

However Journée is a curious mare above all else, she is interested in a lot of things and is easily distracted so that sometimes she loses a little bit herself on her occupations. Moreover she has been lost many times in the numerous tunnels of Lucent.

Journée turns very often around "Tenebris", a place which is forbidden to her of which she heard many legends when she was a filly. Each time her pack migrates to Aquilo, a lake north of Lucent, the flock passes not far from city named Irivua. They follow the septentrio river, and Journée can not help but go on doing stupid things in the cultivation fields of the inhabitants who as soon as they realize come out the heavy artillery and chase them. An anecdote that her companions like to highlight is :
The group of youngsters had headed for the rocks to outwit the humans, climbing there without problem. Adrenaline pulsed through her veins as she climbed the rock face, the others on her heels. Unfortunately a mare (Luya) has been slower than others and humans are getting too close to her. An ominous breeze from her dilated nostrils followed by a dull and threatening snort as she turned around with a sure, determined step. Her piercing eyes are focused on this threat, she projected herself from rock to rock to reach Luya, raising a cloud of smoke that she crossed as she landed in front of the mortals who preferred to flee for fear of suffering the lightning of the protective mare. She stared at them, blowing loudly, her muscles still tense, her four hooves inked in the ground as the dust gradually fell. Luya walked step by step behind her, her ears moving on all sides and her neck tense, trying to scan Journée, depositing her feverish nostrils against her friend's flanks as she slipped to her side to calm her, singing a melodious song to thank her. Journée cool off quickly enough, turning her white-smeared head towards Luya. Asking if all was well then nibbling her in reprimand before both gallop to rush to the top of the pile of rock where the rest of the group was waiting for them.

Oh goodness. So this was probably the hardest one to judge yet. The effort put into developing this chry had be itching to want to know more. Each and every one of you had me so into the story that I felt like I had been there and witnessed everything said, wonderful writing!! <3 However, this lovely can only go home with one person, and I just kept coming back to this form! Congratulations, G.L'S!!
