What was his past like?:
Tut's past was that of royalty. He was worshiped in the days of Pharaohs and Mummies.
He walked with Gods and Goddesses, fed by hand and of the highest value and taste. Carpets were thrown in front of him so his paw pads didn't dare touch the hot sand. He had everything he ever wanted. But Age and Evolution were no match for his companionship and royalty. His Eternal Life outgrew the short human life that had been given to his King, and he now roams Earth, taking in the riches of his planet at it's current.

How did you aquire him?
Though Tut is used to the luxury, I was able to acquire his companionship through time. It wasn't dazzling jewels on his neck or swinging ox leg in front of his muzzle. It was small treats, small gestures that gained his trust. Evolution made him see how intense human kind is so he became cautious of them, and slept around in the shadows. He had gone from being worshiped and having everything to being nothing and having nothing.
With a little TLC, he realized things don't always have to stay the same. And eventually, we were able to move the bed I had given him, off the street, to having his own room and big luxurious bed at home and all the food he could possibly eat. And he found comfort in simply having somewhere to call home.
