Howl
:Gender:
Male
:Personality:
Bright and eager are the first two things that come to mind when one asks about Howl. He catches onto things quickly compared to others and recognizes patterns where they shouldn't be. Learning how to be a proper wizard alongside his two adopted siblings, he never misses a beat or exam in fear of failing at the one thing he's good at. Howl is very focused when he needs to be, but also tends to wander as well.
He use to suffer from nightmares as a child and for a long time wanted to make a dream catcher that swallowed all the bad dreams nearby and replaced them with happy ones. Over time though, he realized fear is part of life and bad dreams are there to remind you that being afraid is natural. Howl understands the meaning in bad and good experiences, seeing the brightest side of every dark tunnel.
:Magical item:
A plain, wooden bowl
:Why:
Being a wizard in training, some items are particularly hard to come by or expensive to obtain. Howl's favorite potion to make changes eye color for roughly a day but requires a moon flower, rainbow leech extract and a dash of refined onyx dust. Rainbow leeches are fairly difficult to find as their main habitat is unknown to the growing world. To solve this issue, Howl grabbed his favorite wooden bowl and held it up to Wish.
"I'd like to enchant this bowl to make twice as much of whatever it contains when I say... Twice as much please!" He was sure this was a good spell for both him and other kalons who needed magical ingredients. Perhaps useful for food too, could never have too many cookies or starfruit laying around. It just felt right, like him and now he can raise moon flowers when he's older.
:History:
Since Howl is fairly young, he doesn't have much going on for him. There wasn't a lot to him before Wish adopted him, it was a wide and scary world. His parents disappeared some time ago and he found himself living off the land and stressing over his next meal. He was quick and resourceful but that's no way for a kit to be raised; alone of all things.
Being raised in a pretty full house now he's picked up on sharing and being kind to others to benefit the house as a whole but sometimes still struggles to fit in. He's not like the other with slurred speech and a hesitant pause before he speaks. Sometimes he feels left out or unimportant, but he knows he's sharing the love and attention he was so generously given the chance to have.
:Aspirations:
Given the magical item he needed to start becoming a real alchemist, Howl hopes to travel the world with his magic remedies and plentiful rare ingredients. Elixirs, potions, beauty products and even form changing poisons. Not real poison, but specially mixed potions to in increase or mutate a kalon if needed. He's always wanted four arms himself...
But most importantly he wants to help those in need who don't have enough. Howl can multiply money, plants, animals though he'd rather not aside from a few rainbow leeches... Farmers who don't have enough crop, seed or water to keep their farm up could really use his 'enchanting' luck charm. He plans to rent out a 'enchanted lucky rabbits foot' to kalons overnight and sneak in to multiply their requested items or satisfy their needs.
Making a little coin on the side would be good for him to afford or new ingredients, so he had a fully planned future ahead.
