★ What is a Celestial Dragon? ★
Celestial Dragons(CDs) are a small breed of dragon, closely related to Fu Dogs. They have a silky, ethereal mane that swirls and shines like a galaxy. They vary in size from a small fox to a large dog, and are covered in a thin coat of soft fur. Their pupils are star shaped, and every CD has a star marking in their coat or mane. Please make sure to read the species rules before trying out!

who they are; Brazee is a confident CD that loves to be around others. Rarely being shy, she loves to go and socialize with others and have a good time. Social gatherings and meeting new Celestial Dragons have to be one of her favorite things. Though saying this, if she's found alone she constantly stresses herself out; an incredibly bad habit of hers. Since she isn't doing anything with friends or family, she's constantly thinking about random scary things and freaks herself out over nothing. This being said, she is usually, if not always, seen with Zavisa- another quirky CD. though they are both usually well behaved, they love to play pranks on other CD's together in their free time for a good laugh. it’d been a long time since the sky was blue, or the grass was green. it was hard to remember what a sunset looked like, how there could even be that many colors. in recent years, the world was ash and mud, washed out colors that told of the dull atmosphere. the air overflowed with smog and despair. dragons tried not to breathe it.

but they couldn’t hold their breath forever.

( post apocalyptic 1900s au || a war’s taken place. in technicality it’s over, but the world remains in ruins. )

forth he goes, and so there’s left a trail of footsteps in the gray-stained snow. he calls himself emery. if his memory serves him right, that’s his birth given name. the streets in the day are empty, but his presence is soft and hard to notice. he’s been told before, if it weren’t for that blue mane of yours, you’d blend right in with your surroundings. he wondered, what sort of comment was that? to be told he matched the depressing scenery.

he’d shrugged it off. in this world, it was for the best to fade into the surroundings. other dragons were not friends. if they weren’t a gun-wielding soldier, they were a desperate civilian that’d do anything for just a crumb of bread.

emery himself wasn’t that sort of person. he wasn’t the kind of person to go mad like so many others had. he wasn’t the kind of person to steal from others, not their food or supplies— certainly not their lives. civilians attacking each other had become somewhat of the norm.

the issue was that most dragons stayed in one place. they huddled together with loved ones and prayed for the snow to stop and for a fully stocked convenience store to be built overnight. emery wouldn’t wait for this; help wouldn’t arrive, the weather wouldn’t let up. everyone wanted to live, but the difference between them and emery was that emery actually would.

he was making a name for himself. a rogue that belonged to no one but himself, yet he was an ally to most. he wasn’t a member of the army. he didn’t have a family. he hadn’t joined any of the “towns” that were beginning to form, small organizations that kept their members alive while ignoring anyone else. he wasn’t any of this, and yet for a lonesome traveler, he was alive and doing better than many.

the thought was silly. a kid like him who barely looked twenty, who barely looked equipped for this world, and he was thriving. the foundation of his success laid in the easy essentials it’d taken for anyone to survive this far; the bravery to take stupid risks, the knowledge of all things helpful in a crisis, the sheer perseverance and will to continue.

these traits were not special to emery. they helped him make it this far, as they did everyone else, but he possessed an extra skillset that allowed him to raise higher in the ranks. cunning. his innate ability to twist a situation for it to favor him, regardless of what nonsense he’d have to do or say to make it this way. he always seemed to be just some innocent kid, and that opened a lot of doors for him. of course, emery really was only an innocent kid. he’d done nothing wrong; but the lie behind his innocence was that he never accidentally wandered onto enemy territory.

he never accidentally showed up during a battle at exactly the right time. he never accidentally did anything. all his actions were carefully planned. he saw opportunities, and his intelligence and precision gave them to him.

what might seem a dangerous force is an ally to emery. all sorts of people, every nearby town. everyone is reluctant to trust an outsider, but in emery’s “coincidental” meetings, he’s forged bonds all over. to bump into an aggressive group of dragons only to surprise them with the exact information they need? to join a battle and help a side win? these things make quick friends, and emery especially has learned how to wiggle into the leader's den of many towns.

so leaves emery a part of every force while simultaneously not a part of any.

more than anything, he uses his position to play the system. his own life is assured. meanwhile, he’s busy playing chess, but he’s doing all in his power to keep the pieces in their places. no one will work together, but they could at least do to not fight. and in his spare time, emery’s traveling back and forth between towns, a messenger of words, a messenger of goods. along the way he drops gifts for those who belong to no specific group. food for families and clothes for wanderers.

and any dragon would wonder, is this truly only some kid?

Bleu is an extremely clever CD and, despite being young, she is wise beyond her years due to her intelligence and her own experiences. However, she has a complex personality. She is wary of others for unknown reasons and is quite calculative. She can sometimes come across as stubborn if someone questions her theories or ideas but, with some persuasion, she can eventually see the particular situation from other perspectives. She dislikes conflict and tries to avoid it as much as possible, but will defend herself if necessary. She remains quite calm in almost all situations, and very rarely gets angry or annoyed.

Although most people see this side to Bleu, the small number of others that she trusts see a different and more relaxed side. Her trust is not an easy thing to gain, but she is actually a very caring and loyal CD. While she will still value her privacy above other things, she will easily enjoy discussing mundane topics and will even crack the occasional joke. She is also adventurous and enjoys discovering new things, especially when she finds something that’s worth exploring.
