personality;; delia is the demigoddess of lava and volcanoes- she has an explosive personality and speaks her mind, regardless of what others think. when angry, she can make volcanoes erupt at her command. she tries to remain composed and fulfill her postion as a demigoddess calmly and dignified, but she can't help it. she can be quite the sadist, and takes great pleasure in watching the surrounding areas of her volcanoes burn and die. she has a huge ego, and when her pride is hurt, she goes absolutely ballistic. despite all this, she actually can feel guilt, believe it or not. after what happened with her family, she feels guilty for ripping them apart, (she's still angry at them, mind you) but wishes to repair the damage done on her part.
what made her angry/indifferent?;; her family. she was born to an ordinary viscet family with two other siblings. she was always.. different from her family. from a young age, she loved to experiment with her powers, but in secret. she knew that she was special, and this fed her already growing ego. she could make little lava spouts out of the ground, but she was extremely careful to make sure no one saw. as she aged, her powers progressed, and she started to look down upon others. she began learning magic from a powerful mage who saw great talent in her, and this helped her powers immensely, and her magic progressed quickly. he soon began to realize this was no ordinary viscet he was teaching, and later found out about her powers. he told her of her true nature, and why she could control the magma beneath the earth's crust. not long after telling her, the mage disappeared and was never seen again. in rage that he abandoned her, she destroyed a nearby mountain with lava, injuring many and almost killing a select few. a year later, she told her parents. but instead of being proud like she had expected, they rejected her and wanted nothing to do with her, because she was dangerous and reckless. she flew into a rage, splitting the valley they lived in apart. she then fled, never to be seen again. she now seeks them, but to apologize and repair the damage.
