Story: Oracle was wondering blindly through the wilderness, A new surge of panic threatens to spill from the back of her throat, wobbling on her stilt like legs. With strength dwindling the short mare stumbles through the tree lines to a small lake in side a clearing, gasping with breath she quickly tottles her way to the pool of crystal clear lake inhaling the clean, refreshing liquid. Collapsing in the cool shade dozing in to deep slumber. Minuets turn to hours and Oracle, whom is still a deep slumber, doesn't hear the light footfalls of a small human female, gasping the female calls RFES and Oracle is transported to a warm stall with fresh water and grain mix, all providing the key nutrients, after weeks of therapy in both psychical and mental specialty Oracle is ready to go to her forever home. I trotted through the deep pine forest, breathing in the scents of the morning. I was wandering aimlessly everywhere and anywhere. Orphaned since a cougar attack killed my mother and younger brother, I had been floating around the ridges like a spooked spirit. But that morning, my life was about to change. It started when the cougar leaped out of nowhere. It sailed over my head to land on my back, and I saw its beady eyes filled with hate. I staggered and my legs collapsed beneath me as the cougar put its weight on my small frame. Blood filled my vision. Terror engulfed me. Then there was a rifle shot. The cougar went limp above me. I faintly heard the footsteps of humans. Something sharp pricked my hide, and I sunk into unconsciousness. I woke up and found myself in RFES. Since then I have stayed, survivor of a cougar attack, waiting for someone to bring me home.
