Is he mean? Cruelty is completely subjective and open to opinion, discussion, and argumentation. While Azazel doesn't believe that he is any form of mean-spirited or a particularly debatable person, it is apparent to others that he is largely aware of the negative effects of his actions. Where he thinks he is simply cold to emotional connection or understanding it is a lacking on his end as opposed to the other person. Everyone that he comes across becomes frozen in place with intimidation, struck first by his large demeanor and then by his blunt attitude, and some leave with curses muttered under their breath from the frustration of being so unfortunate as to cross his path. He will not go out of his way to intentionally wound another but is rather oblivious to how he comes across.
