akuma lives up on the hill of his little chinese village. he sells the flowers that grow in his garden for money and he does this for his living. not only are his flowers extremely valuable and special, they are also a one-of-a-kind and that's where the second part of his name comes from: his parents were unsure about a name for him in the beginning, but they soon realized that their son was special. his eyes were black where they normally should be white, leading them to give him the name 'akuma' - 'demon'. even though his parents and the villagers were scared of the child possessing evil powers they did not lose hope in him and let him grow up as a normal keipah. he found friends, played and lived a normal life, only asking sometimes why his sclera was black and not white, his parents would always say that he was very special.
he first discovered his talent in growing flowers while helping his father in the garden. the flowers seemed to bloom far better after akuma cared for them, there was something about his technique that was just right.
"it's not magic, just pure ability."
with those words he took over his parent's house when they died and soon started to live of selling his flowers. he even managed to 'create' his own flower hybrids. those hybrids would only bloom in his garden, as they needed the familiar soil. he gets visitors every day who take walks in the exotic atmosphere of his garden.
