Second Chance Shelter is a dog and cat rescue where you can come to find a new member of your family. We rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes so they may have the chance to be placed into a caring home. All of our animals are special and deserve a chance to be happy with an owner that will care for them. The question is: are you ready to love them?

Recently the SCS Staff ended up finding a group of dogs the past few weeks; interestingly enough, this cat was in the group of them. It seems the cat is very friendly with the dogs, though; it's almost as if the cat had been leading the pack before they had been brought in. They were found by a ranch, eating some of the scraps meant for the cattle.
It took a few weeks to get them healthy again and suit out their respectable problems. The cat had many wounds and broken arm, of which may need later medical attention; it's incredibly weak and he keep's naturally twisting it back inward. Due to the amount of medical concern, we decided the cat would do best remaining at the shelter.
The dog had malnutrition issues and needed to get rid of some mange, but now they're ready to be adopted! The other ones are still in the recovery process and will be adopted out at a later date.

As you can probably tell from the timer, I am terrible at drawing cats and it took me a long time to get the design done. x'D
A little late but this is my custom from May, the one from June will hopefully be coming out sometime soon so that I'm not behind on everything.

She is also headstrong and at times reckless like Aleu. like Aleu she tends to act first and think later, sometimes with unforeseen consequences. She, like Aleu, has been made an outcast because many people who come by the shelter see her dobermann breeding and assume she is aggressive, just like many thought the same of Aleu for her wolf heritage.
