Second Chance Shelter is a dog and cat rescue where you can come to find a new member of your family. We rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes so they may have the chance to be placed into a caring home. All of our animals are special and deserve a chance to be happy with an owner that will care for them. The question is: are you ready to love them?

These two were separate emergency cases that were brought in at the same time. The pit bull had mange and was severely malnourished, and the Drentsche Patrijshond had bad issues with their back legs. Both are brought back to health and are able to go to homes. The pit is incredibly friendly and loves food, and seems to like to try and nab table scraps when no one is looking. They're very good with children and would do well in any family. The Patrijshond's back legs seem to be very weak from deteriorated muscle, so we made custom braces for them to walk around in until they get better. They will require a lot of love and supervision before the legs will become strong again.

For eremite, I changed the braces as well- concerning sports, she won't permanently have the bad back so you could just potentially have an entry or two talking about how she gets stronger to compete. You could also just keep her good citzen if you don't want her to do a sport as well, all up to you ^^
