Ah I wish I had saved these items for my summer event rare but... by the time I thought about that this one's design/items/etc were already done OTL

Anyway, it's been uuuuubbbeeeeerrrr hot these last few days, so to celebrate the upcoming summer I've made a watermelon witch adopt XD

• You can only fill out one of the two, magical item or favorite spell (unless you wish to use one of your extras to answer the other prompt (in which case put it under extras and not under the question)
• If you choose magical item, you must draw it and it must be watermelon themed in some way. It can be a wand, a book, whatever would help them channel their magic or help them magically in some way. You can have fifty words to describe it as well.
• If you choose favorite spell, you have up to 400 words to explain why that is their favorite spell or write an experience they've had with the spell. Please make the spell up yourself, don't take something from Harry Potter or something.
• You can have up to three extras, art or writing.
• No animations (unless simple pixel movements) or comics
• The extra writing is 500 words each, to use however you like (you may pool your wordcount together for a longer story, but you must specify that is what you are doing)
• Prettying up is allowed.

Açaí uses a watermelon ring, and it's main power was to turn any object into watermelon.
The object would look how it normally would on the outside, but once you rip it open, fresh wat-
ermelon flesh would be revealed. Yes, he could probably turn you into a tasty watermelon, too. (50/50)

Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ:
Açaí can be very smart and cunning, as most witches are. He can be known for making snide remarks at the worst of times, and can sometimes even be a bit ungrateful. He is though, grateful for the teachings granted to him by his parents. They taught him all he knows about fruit magic, as they specialize in the talent as well.

Even though he can seem a bit defensive to some others, the viscet has a soft spot for his close friends. He doesn't like to show weakness (now, do any male viscets like to show weakness?), and would try to cover up, almost embarrassed-like, if someone thanks him after he helps them out.

His main passion is performing fruit spells, usually out of a book or with his trusty ring. The ring is pretty much his life, it's reliable for casting spells with, and durable as well. Since his parents conjured it up when he showed his affinity for the fruit,
watermelon, he would more than likely not be getting a replacement if he were to lose it. So he makes sure he always has it with him, at all times.

The male viscet can be a bit of a showoff at times, usually while performing spells he comes up with his self (and pats himself on the back for his 'unique spells'). He loves to brag, and loves when other viscets brush his ego (boy, does he love
getting an encore), and he can cast spells all day until he gets tired. Açaí thinks about traveling one day, possibly to stop at villages and perform a show for the villagers, using his magic. Just make sure not to get his ego too high, though. He will probably keep casting spells until he passes out.

Açaí is a very messy viscet. His room looks like a tornado had run through it multiple times, with books, papers, and other things strewn all-about. It's a wonder how he can stay productive in all of the clutter, and his parents would never, ever set foot in the room, for fear of stepping on something important. (If it's so important, why is it on the ground, anyways? They won't question their son's ways.)

It would be wise not to get him angry. Açaí has been known for going on... rampages, so to speak. He would get in an uncontrollable state where he would be blind with rage, and would use destructive/potentially catastrophic spells in his fury. It's very rare to get him in this stage, and usually it's even more rare to even get him angry in the first place. But if you're an
enemy to the viscet, it would be smart of you to keep your distance.

Açaí's heart is in a good place, he tries using his magic for the greater good, but his personality says otherwise. Once you actually get to know him though, he can be the biggest sweetheart on the planet. (494/500)

Hɪsᴛᴏʀʏ:
Born to a family with a history chock-full of fruit witches, Açaí was thought from day one to have an affinity towards the berry he was named after, the açaí. The look on his parents' faces when he showed a likeness towards watermelon was incredulous. They were so surprised but didn't question it, and instead began training him spells more connected to the fruit.

The first thing his parents did was create a magical ring for him. They gave Açaí a very stern lecture on what and what not to do with the ring, and to never, ever lose it. Ah, he loves his ring. It's main power was to turn any object into watermelon, and Açaí would use his ring whenever he was feeling hungry or a bit mischevious. The ring is very powerful, and contains a lot of magic inside it. His parents were cautious to make sure Açaí knew how to use it before giving him full responsibility of the ring.

Ever since the viscet was given the ring and trained properly, the now dubbed "Watermelon Witch" never stopped teaching himself new spells and tricks. Açaí absolutely loved seeing himself improve, especially his stamina, which used to be pretty poor considering how much it took to cast the spells he did. Go big or go home, right?

Of course, he had a childhood, but Açaí was more dedicated to magic. Occasionally he would play with the other viscets in his village, the male loves to rough house, but when another viscet talented in magic would want to hang out with him, he would immediately say yes with no hesitation. The witch loves to share and learn new spells with other witches. He has even learned a few prank spells, much to the dismay of his relatives and friends.

The witch loved to go with his parents to his grandparents' house. They were the lead witches of their village, and were very powerful. As Açaí strives to become a very strong witch, he would always ask them for training, and of course, for their only grandson, they agreed. Açaí knows many powerful spells that could be devastating, but he knows he can only use them in dire situations, as a last resort.

Açaí's time as a child was mostly taken up by practicing his magic, but he did find time for his friends, on occasion. To this
day, they understand the determination and hard work the male witch put into his talent, and would make the best out of any time they got to hang out. (428/500)

Mᴏʀᴇ ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ Aᴄ̧ᴀɪ́:
-Açaí actually finds the fruit he was named after to be pretty tasty. Not as good as watermelon, though.
-Açaí will sometimes forgo sleep in order to continue practicing and creating spells, and could do so for a very long time. His last record was 2 days straight.
-The viscet has a sandbox-sized garden next to his windowsill, where he grows his own watermelon. Usually he would do so for experiments (such as growing watermelons fused with magic, etc), or to use in his spells.
-Açaí is vegetarian. He has a lot of respect and love for his environment, and couldn't imagine himself eating another animal.
-His hat was forged by his father, and is practically indestructable. The accessories he wears were sewn by his grandmother (at first he didn't like them, but later on found them to be pretty nice).
-Açaí really likes rodents... the viscet is thinking about going to the wizard in his village and asking about conjuring up a rodent familiar for him, but he still needs to research about it. He has his parents' consent, though, and is very excited to possibly be getting his own familiar. His mother and father both have one, a falcon and a frog, respectively.
-He is also very fascinated with dragons. The witch would love to meet one one day, hopefully on his travels when he becomes more experienced.
-The viscet can get very annoyed when he can't figure out something, such as an intricate spell or a problem.
-Usually he never cracks under pressure, but if nervous, Açaí would chew on a piece of grass or a watermelon stem.

Rune's an odd sort of witch. Whereas many would have wands, spell books or other trinkets as their source of magic Rune has a necklace. Not just any necklace either, it's a cute little trinket with a watermelon slice charm. To use it, she simply holds it between her teeth.

"Ah, this is it!" Squealed a happy little witch as she practically bounced inside her the door. The young witch lived alone as was custom for her kind but she didn't care in the least. She was still happily gushing over the package wrapped in brown paper. "At last! I've been waiting for this for.. well ever!" The viscet bounced around her home as she pushed things aside and placed her package on her table. She couldn't wait a moment more as she torn open the package and revealed the contents within. It was a book along with a note, the viscet was still too excited and disregarded the note as it fell from her table. "Rune, you're certainly a genius. This book here will do so nicely." Rune told herself. "I can finally make my potions and even better I'll be able to finally make others love me." She swayed her tail giddily, rifling through the pages of her newly obtained treasure. "Hm, let's see.. curses, no, hmm blessings, no that's not it either." Rune flipped several pages, "Potions to cure illnesses, might be useful later but not what I want." She continued to flip pages, now more frantically as she tried to find what she was looking for. She was well more than half the book in before she found what she was looking for. "Yes! A love potion, oh wow there are several types too." She blinked, "Well that's certainly not what I expected." She adjusted her hat and then began reading through the numerous different types of love potions. She groaned some at some of them, as most had to deal mostly with more lovey-dovey things than what she was aiming for. "All I want is a simple love potion to make people adore me. Why is that so much to ask?" She pouted, almost ready to give up when she stumbled upon a potion that didn't have much explanation beyond making anyone who she was to spray with it to instantly adore her. "That is what I'm looking for. Now see why couldn't that be in the beginning." She looked at the ingredients, making a face. "Ew, the ingredients to this one is gross." She shut the book, "Nevertheless I will go and collect them all." She lashed her tail with determination as she grabbed a satchel from the wall and bounded back out of her home in search of the ingredients she'd need for the potion.

The note on the floor ended up slipping further under the table with all the commotion. The note's contents not to be realized. The note read, I hope you enjoy your order, young witch Rune. This spell book contains numerous useful spells as well as several unique spells. Take caution to which spells you use and the purpose they're for. Misuse of the potions intended purpose can lead to backfires. Especially the potions that deal with emotions. Exercise extremely precaution with those spells. -Sincerely C. Wizard
