Knittens are a sentient species of plush creatures that reside in the deep woods. For years, they’ve
been created by a witch and her eleven assistants, who all take part in the planning, sewing, stuffing,
and decorating of the creatures. They are composed of various fabrics, and can be seen with pretty
much any characteristics in the book. Upon enchantment, Knittens come to life.

Herbs:

Peppermint - An old combination of watermint and spearmint, containing a fresh smell. Gives the knitten a sympathetic quality.

Mineral:

Calcium - supposedly good for the teeth and bones and regulation of the heart beat. Gives the knitten a relaxing quality.
