They seem confused...: Roo tends to be confused quite a lot. She's a bit slow on the uptake in most situations and has to sit and stare for a awhile before realizing what's going on. Because of this she was fairly difficult to train at first, but patience was key and in the end she was able to catch on. Any additional tricks (roll over, speak, dance, etc) were real challenges for her, and after not long of her sitting with a confused expression on her face I'd just give up, give her the treat, and call it a day. Roo didn't understand what was being asked of her until I demonstrated with other dogs doing the trick, afterward it was a cinch to teach her them too. However, even with the basic commands she'll initially be confused by what I'm saying to her before realizing what I want her to do. You could say she just needs more guidance and patience than other dogs, but regardless it doesn't make me love her any less. She gets confused by more than just training though. Whenever she meets someone new, dog or otherwise, she doesn't seem to understand why they're there and gets all up in their business to investigate them. Because of her generally confused nature I call her 'my psyduck' as an endearing term.

Why are they being playful?: Toto seems to always be playful. He is always running, bouncing, jumping, and barking. He never seems to ever calm down! This would be fine ... except he tries to drag other pets into it too. Luckily, Tutu is almost always with him, so he finds that he can drag her in and play with her instead of being pestering other dogs/cats. He also loves to jump on Tutu - yes, ON. On top. And she's okay with it!

They Seem Confused...: She is always being overwhelmed - by Toto, by the sun, by the whole entire WORLD. She's always asking herself questions, most of which have no answers! She's always looking for answers, everywhere, to anything and everything. Ahh, she's very curious, and wonders about eVeRryThiNG. She never stops. I think she's wearing Toto down - maybe if he gets tired of her questions, he'll stop jumping on her?

They seem confused...: The other bread seems extremely excited and Croissant can't make heads or tails of why. That and he can't see anything but bread at the moment, he must be hungry! Though he did just eat a loaf of bread and several breadsticks, maybe it's gone to his head. After he recovers form seeing so much bread he might be less confused but there's bread everywhere. Also why does this dog smell of garlic bread, not that he's complaining but, why? How? I guess he won't know unless he asks, but I'm sure that would be an awkward conversation. But maybe he's not just seeing bread but smelling it as well.

Why are they bein playful?: Garlie loves the smell of anything baked and the other dog smells like croissants to her. She just loves the smell and gets excited when she smells baked foods. She's extremely happy to be paired with the other dog. She wants to be friends with the croissant smelling one so bad she's trying to get their attention by trying to play with them. Being playful equals being friendly, so she hopes to make a good impression and to not make enemies with this dog. Also she's a bit of an excitable pup anyways and loves to play with others. Also she can smell food and the humans might give her some of that bread if she's cute and playful, because we all know human's are suckers for that stuff!
