I was trying to think of a romantic song that wasn't a break-up/heartbreak song and the first song that popped into my head was "Same Love" by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (ft. Mary Lambert). Thus, this gay child was born.

Realistically, dave, ur a cool cat. I think I've known you for like, idk, a really long time now? We practically do everything together which is amazing in of itself because like, now if u get one of us u get both of us. The package u never wanted. Unstoppable. You're really friendly and honestly always there for me, be it 6 in the morning before school or 10 at night, and I can never thank u enough for that. My mom says you know you're comfortable with someone when you can deal with the silence without it being awkward, and 100% I can agree with that because I think you just.. you get me, you know what I mean without even me having to say all the thoughts on my mind, which is amazing in of itself. Youre such an exceptionally dedicated friend, not just to me but to honestly everyone else too.. you're considerate of my feelings and above all you respect loyalty, which is really huge.
Also, seriously tho ur art is hella great like. My heart Does The Thing every time you draw ship art or heck, you draw those sketches where the arms are even arms theyre just sticks with circles at the end, honestly that makes me want to cry from laughing bc I adore those /w all my little heart. You're also such a wonderful writer in pretty much everything you do, your plots are stellar and I absolutely love plotting with you and I love love the headcanons and aus we make together because man, you're just the mvp.
Honestly we joke about you being my kiddo but I think at this point its true, you're such an amazing fabulous person who is so kind and understanding and so so patient, you put up with all my stuff and gbless.. the way we talk literally confuses everyone else to heaven and back but it's like our own little weird language and you don't know how much I appreciate that. You're always willing to help me out with whatever it is, and honestly I adore creating characters with you. You're such a fun person to talk with and I'm always crooning over your really great designs, not just physical designs but the way your characters interact is just superb.
Above all, you're an amazing friend who I value a lot. I think anyone would be incredibly lucky to have you as a friend, and I know I don't state it much but I'm so grateful to have you as mine.

Compliment about a user: This might seem a little weird, considering that they're also entered for this RPW, but I'm gonna have to go with PolarizedVertigo. Polarized - or Acid, as I've still called them - has been a really good friend of mine for almost two years now. We go way back, and I couldn't have ever wished for a better person to be by my side during tough times. Acid is one of my favorite humans, and although I'm an overall naff human (especially re: keeping active and staying in contact with people), Acid has been there for me through so much. We've had our ups and downs, but I couldn't have picked a better person to be my friend. Not only is Acid an amazingly intelligent, funny, charming, down to earth and overall amazing person, but they're also one of the best designers I've ever had the pleasure of working with, and has one of the nicest art styles I've ever seen in my personal opinion. When it comes to their characters, Acid puts in so much effort, from the designs to their personalities, relationships, headcanons and quirks - every single one of their characters is well loved and adored, and when you talk to them about their characters, you can always see the extra work they put into every aspect of their personality. Acid is a great person to bounce ideas off, and has a really creative brain, with so many ideas whirring around up there, but is always supportive of my ideas. They're overall a really positive and sweet lil human to be around, and if you do get the chance to talk to them or be friends with them then TAKE THAT CHANCE. They're such a damn sweetheart and I really, really consider myself lucky to be friends with them xo
