Story:
Bang
I had been visiting the countryside where my sister lived. She hunted for her own food, since town was more than a half hour away. My brother-in-law was taking me out bird hunting, and I hardly even knew how to hold a gun. I'd never enjoyed guns, or hunting, or even eating any meat that wasn't fish, simply because I wasn't a fan of other meats textures.
My brother-in-law seemed frustrated, unable to hit any o his targets. A bad day, he called it.
He told me I could stay outside and take a walk, which I was more than happy to agree to. Forests had always been peaceful to me.
The deeper into the forest I walked, however, I found that my brother-in-laws lack of finding birds seemed almost impossible. Birds were everywhere, big and small. I eventually found a creature with big eyes staring at me, a creature I'd never seen before.
"Aww you're so pretty." I knelt down to not scare the animal and I was surprised by the way it approached me immediately. It made a small "chirrup" sound and I noticed the way it's fur had birds streaming down it.
Did this creature try to protect the birds? That was adorable. But at the same time, I didn't want my sister and her husband to starve.
"H-hi... Do you think you could come to where I live? There are lots of birds there, and they get hunted sometimes. But my sister and her husband are here.. I hate to say it, but they need to eat. Where I live, no one needs to hunt. They just do. Come protect them, please."
The creature looked at me almost as if I was crazy- wide-eyed and head tilted to one side. Then it looked at a few of the birds on the trees around it, and looked back at me.
Was that a yes?
"Uhm... Okay.." I picked up the animal- it was kinda heavy, but I didn't mind. I held it like a cat, and began to carry it back to the car where I'd go home. I placed him inside the car and smiled. "Stay here."
I walked back into my sister house and saw my brother-in-law sitting there complaining disheartedly. "Hey, go try again. There are tons of birds outside."
Skeptically, he went.
I decided to go home, however. It was a long drive, and my new friend stayed in the front seat with me. He was friendly, and seemed curious, like a sort of puppy.
Once I was home, my brother-in-law had sent me a picture of their catch. A large falcon. I wasn't completely sure hunting them was legal in their area, but he also said he was just shooting aimlessly.
I showed it to my new friend and they seemed taken aback. That must be hard for him. I sighed. "Hey, let's honor them. I'll name you Falcon. Is that okay?" I smiled and opened my arms like a hug as I knelt on the ground. Falcon padded over to me and allowed me to wrap my arms around them, purring quietly.

Foxlep's gender: Male
Story: I'ts cold, I thought to my self as I wrapped a scarf around my neck. "I'm off!" I called to my mother.
"Good luck!" She called back.
I was looking for twiggs to make dream catchers, but so far I found fragile, weak ones, which snap at the slightest pressure, I find it annoying, I look deep into the woods, deeper and deeper, till, I find myself lost.
I wonded around for what seemed like hours. Then I saw a flash of brown. A foxlep was looking at me, it signaled for me to follow.
More roaming around, but this area became familiar.
We were at the edge of the forest, I gave the foxllep a pat expressing my gratitude, but it whimperd.
I turned around and it was holding a stick in its mouth. I picked it up and bent it, perfect! It didn't break.
The foxlep looked at me with sad eyes,
"Would you like to live with me?" I asked.
It jumped around with glee.
"I'll call you...Oak!" I said to him and he seemed to like this name.
My mom questioned it at first, but over time Oak was part of the family, and we made lots of dream catchers together.
