lukas was born a swimmer. as soon as he left the womb, he was in water. granted, that was entirely his mother's choice. his love for swimming, however, was not his mother's choice; it seemed that it was a gift, one that the small kalon was extremely greatful for.
he lived around water his entire life, whether it be the beach, a dam, a lake, a river, or even a tiny stream. since he was adopted by the young kalon ariadne, a traveller who never seemed to be able to stay in one spot for long, lukas has quite literally nearly been everywhere. (in europe, though.) the two shared a bond as soon as they met - their love for water.
water, a simple thing most take for granted, really is something lukas thanks for his life so far. you'd think, since he was abandoned in water when he was only a few days old, he would have some sort of resentment towards the substance. contrary to that belief, lukas sees the water as a friend; one that will always guide him towards where he is destined to be ' who he is destined to be.
now, he just drifts from nation to nation, state to state, and pauses every now and again with ariadne to look into the blue depths of a water source, sighing happily as the kalon becomes at peace with his environment.
