These are the Mahu Shadow Clans, they are a stealthy species and are known for being quick, fierce, and always travel in packs/clans. They can live in any type of environment but enjoy a nice dens forest or tall grass to hide. They usually do not have eyes or are blind. They are not very social animals except for their clan. Feathers and Skulls show rank among the clan. Their diet consists of fruits, bugs, and other animals. They are omnivore but will only eat fruits and such when they need to, otherwise they stick to hunting down other small animals such as rabits, rats, birds, and the occasional deer.

- Beetles
Luce has a certain affinity for most any insect, but beetles are by far his favorite creature. He adores feeling their sometimes clumsy movements and smooth patterns on his paws - easily putting the rainbow stag beetle at the top of his favorites list.
- Syfy Movies
Anything that involves science and fantasy is an A++ for Luce's imaginative brain - toss a smidgen of horror in there as well, and hes practically drooling. His nights are usually filled with listening to reruns of old syfy flicks and loudly complaining when the major plotholes in each film becomes overly apparent.
- Late Summer
The late summer season has always been Luce's favorite time of the year. The lovely cool breezes and last seldom flashes of sun as the leaves just start to turn, not to mention the sudden abundance of forest critters all sputtering about to adjust to the oncoming winter, is a very simple yet cherished time for him.
- Journaling
Luce isn't much of a writer (how can he be without his eyesight afterall), but he does manage to get a few of his thoughts onto paper from time to time. Mainly being various studies on the local beetles and simple sketches of new insects that he discovers through feel that he absolutely must get home to study later on. But there is a bit of satisfaction he gets from doddling on a bit about how hes feeling each day.

- Mirrors
An odd phobia to have all things considered, but Luce has always been fearful of mirrors. He is quite the spiritual soul, and believes without a doubt that ghosts use mirrors as portals to other worlds. Where he came up with this is unknown, but its been a longstanding concern since we was a kit.
- Getting Lost
No one really likes being lost anywhere, but for Luce its differant. His anxiety absolutely wracks his whole system anytime he realizes he doesn't know exactly where he is or where he's going. He tends to count his steps from certain landmarks, and anytime he fumbles over the number its a huge deal.
Crowds
Luce is a bit of a lone wolf if you hadn't already guessed. He doesn't like being bothered by others or dealing with the loudness of voices and rushing of paws. Its a bit of a sensory overload so to speak. He prefers to slink away unseen and stay by himself on most any occasion. He doesn't really get lonely either - its just his nature be independent.
Violence
An odd thing to dislike for a hunter, a very skillful one at that, but Luce has always had issues with violence. He hates hearing arguments or scuffles and does just about anything in his power to avoid such instances. To be entirely truthful, he doesn't even enjoy killing for food that much - but fruits and berries are disgusting to him, and he refuses to kill his beetle companions, so hunting is his last resort.
