What is the best christmas present that you have received, and why was it the best? [150 words min]

This is gonna be a bit nerdy.

The best Christmas present I have ever gotten? I would have to say that would be my computer. My old laptop was literally held together by duct tape and I had to hold the screen so it didn't fall. It was extremely hard to draw, not to mention it was very slow and lagged quite a lot. So I kept begging my mother for a desktop, and not just any desktop. I wanted to build my own computer. Now, this was more of a Christmas, birthday hybrid gift, as I didn't get it until my birthday in March. Finally, I was allowed to do it! I was given a $1,000 budget, so I got a snazzy case and began to get all the components, trying to maximize quality and performance while staying in budget. I got an 800 watt power supply so I wouldn't have to worry about a good enough power supply in the future when I was upgrading, a decent AMD R7 360 graphics card as a starter (I want to get atleast a GTX 980 in the future), an AMD A6-7400K Radeon R5, 6 Compute Cores 2C+4G (I hate such a lame processor but ugh, budget. I'm definitely upgrading to AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor, maybe an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz if I can afford it by then.), GA-F2A88X-D3HP motherboard (will likely upgrade if I run into problems with compatibility), and an 8 gig DDR3 memory. (I'm eyeballing the Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 ). But YEAH around 900$ for the computer and bits and around 100$ total in shipping. For now I have a lame little dell screen because I ran out of money. But it all came with a free razor blackwidow keyboard so yay! I don't think I could ever be happier <3

Lenka's best Christmas present was was going to disney world, he remembers ever so clearly, the glorious smells in the air, the mascots dancing around, and all the bright lights. He won alot of crane games and carnival games, and enjoyed alot of the food, its where he met his good friend, Riku. They found out they both came on Winter break, and now that they are grown up, they are practically inseparable! His favorite ride was Space Mountain, and the Haunted Mansion being a very close second. Although he felt oddly unnerved when a mascot got a bit too close, just imagine what kinda person lurks beneath that giant suit! He doesn't know and wouldn't stay around to find out. Out of all the cool things there, the parade was amazing!! Seeing tinker bell all the way up there, and all the cool fireworks, he would love to go back to that time!

Marzena's best Christmas present was actually not a Christmas present at all. She met Epiales in the middle of the year after losing someone she cared deeply for, and he became her new best friend almost immediately. Her best Christmas present was getting to spend that Christmas with him, instead of alone like she feared she might. They talked and laughed the day away, sharing cookies and presents, and they didn't even notice as darkness fell over the land. They sat in front of a cozy fire and shared Christmas stories until they both were so tired they fell asleep on top of each other. She woke up holding him close, and all she could do for the next two weeks was smile. She had gotten a best friend for Christmas, and a crush, and she could not have been happier. The year she met him was her best Christmas ever.

For James, his favorite present was when him and Alex were still dating. It was Christmas Eve and they were spending it together in Alex's apartment in front of the warm fire in the fireplace. Though they agreed to not give each other anything with a value above 15 dollars Alex had something else in mind. James got him a pip boy from FallOut 4. Alex was overjoyed but he wanted to get James something special. After James had given Alex his gift and they had watched their favorite Christmas movie Alex decided to give James his present. They were sitting in his living room when Alex promptly got done on one knee and proposed to James as a Christmas present. Of course he said yes but it's been his favorite Christmas ever since. James even made a point to add hidden Christmas themed things in their wedding to show how much he really loved that gift and the thought put behind it.

Well the best gift Crystal got was from her very own adopted daughter Louts on their first Christmas. Crystal had gotten lotus lots of gifts as a way to kind of make up for all the Christmases the pup had spent in the orphanage. She made sure to get only the things she knew lotus needed and liked. It already was a perfect Christmas with no mishaps happening and on Christmas eve
Crystal and lotus would each open one gift they got each other before going to bed. After super was all cleaned up and the cookies for Santa were send out, they sat by the warm fire place and picked the other gift for them to open. Crystal picked out this
lovely Blanket she made for lotus with stars on it that glow in the dark and gave it to the pup. Lotus timidly gave Crystal her gift and took the one Crystal had picked out. Crystal smiled at the blue and white warping paper which was a little messy but she could tell Lotus tired her hardest to make it look perfect. she slowly pulled the bow on it and gasped in awe. It was a beautify winter themed picture frame with glitter on the snow to make it sparkle. Lotus timidly asked her if she liked it and Crystal looks up from her gift at the shy but smiling pup. Crystal hugged her while crying a little and told the pup it was the nicest gift she ever gotten. Lotus hugged her mother back happily nodding and nuzzled into her warm fur. She then opened her gift and was ecstatic over it. They later cuddled by the fire with the blanket covering them both with the picture frame on the mantle with a picture of the two of them in it..

The floating wolf giggled in delight as she circled the tall Christmas tree occasionally reaching out and batting at a bauble or escaped bit of tinsel. This was going to be her first Christmas with her new friends and she could barely keep her excitement in check; as everyone knows Christmas is 10 times more exciting when you have someone to share it with. She could hardly wait to see the looks on their faces when they got their gifts, the grey ghost beamed at the thought of their smiles.

She lowered herself down to where she could be on the same level as Steel and Xenith, the two wolves in question looking decidedly amused at her seemingly unending delight.

"Now I believe the first thing on the agenda is a present for you my dear Sable" Xenith told her ghostly companion whose face lit up with sheer joy. The wrapped package placed before her wasn't large in size and held a some strange sort of shape; the type of which Sable wasn't bothered about identifying.

Using her claws she carefully went about unwrapping her gift, she paused as the last of the paper fell away to reveal a framed photograph of herself, Steel and Xenith.

"Thank you so much" she breathed and hugged her companions firmly
