I really love how this one turned out,
truly it's beautiful and I really wish I could keep her tbh c:

this one is inspired by Dia de los Muertos or The Day of the Dead, it's a beautiful Mexican holiday in remembrance of lost loved ones. You can read more about it here if you don't know much about it already. Also I shamelessly listened to "The Book of Life"s soundtrack while designing this - if you haven't seen that movie, you really should. It's beautiful.

Extra Writing-
Alessandra Cordero, who also goes by 'Luna', is a very calm and easygoing girl. She's also very wise and smart for her young age, born speaking Spanish to later on learning English, and can speak the latter language fluently. She could be quite protective of others, especially her family.

The viscet loves what any typical girl likes. Cute things, make-up, pink... It's too bad that her lifestyle keeps her too busy to enjoy these sorts of things. Being the eldest child in the family meant you were most likely to take up the family job once your parents could work no more, and that's exactly what Luna's father has planned for her. The viscet wouldn't complain though, numerous times she has said that 'talking to ghosts is a passion'.

Her family is quite.. special. They're the go-to family for troubled spirits, demons and the like, ghosts of the dead never laid to rest. They would make sure the spirits are situated and friendly, so they wouldn't haunt, scare, or try to hurt other mortal beings. It's quite helpful, as the small village that Luna lives in may just be where most ghosts and demons inhabit. Call it 'one of the most haunted places you'll ever visit', if you may.

Sometimes a letter from a neighboring town would come in about an agitated spirit, and Luna would be the one to go and settle it down. She's met plenty of acquaintances throughout her life, coming from her job, and she has even made a couple of close friends- Luna has even befriended a couple spirits before.

Relationships-

Augustin - Since Luna was skilled in helping out the supernatural, Augustin sought out for her help to train his daughter, Keiko. Past encounters with ghosts and demons made Luna knowledgeable on how their powers worked, so she was a good candidate to help his daughter.

Luna loved to train little Keiko. Since she has never done so before, it was a new experience and she enjoyed it greatly. Luna is thinking about studying demons and ghosts and how their powers work, so she can help out other spirits with such problems.

Diego - Luna met Diego while out on the job, she was being called to settle down ghosts living in an abandoned apartment complex in a pretty populated city. On her way to the building, she crashed into a scary-looking viscet- who happened to be Diego. She was intimidated by him at first- and he could tell- but as soon as the large viscet started telling Luna his 'A-Plus Puns', she warmed up to him pretty quickly.

Cooper - Cooper's mother was complaining about something haunting the chicken coop, and in disbelief, Cooper called Luna to come over and take a look. Turns out something was haunting the coop, and with a few I-told-you-so's from Cooper's mom and some painful chicken pecks- Luna was able to put the spirit at ease. The farmer's mother thanked her generously with a nice dinner complete with a hearty dessert.

And hey- even though those chickens were evil- they were pretty cute....



Family Tradition-
One of Luna's family traditions was to gather up the ready-to-harvest flowers, that the family planted and grew themselves, and go to the village's cemetery and decorate each and every single tombstone with them. Her family took the extra step further to appreciate the dead with this tradition, and Luna loved every second of it. It warms her heart whenever they go to the cemetery with a wheelbarrow full of marigolds, carnations and roses, knowing that the spirits are very happy with what they are doing.

Afterwards, the family would have a party. A big dinner right after a prayer to honor those who have died, and for those who are alive to live their life to the fullest. Candles would be lit during this, giving their home a warm feeling.

Another plus is that the tradition is a family-bonding experience. Her mother was a clairvoyant, always in her little tent, and her father also worked to settle the ghosts, and her siblings were always out doing... whatever teenage viscets do. Since they were all out doing something most of the day until dinner time, Luna appreciated the moment they get when they decorate the cemetery and have the after-party. Of course, they went to the cemetery along with the rest of the village to decorate the graves during Dia de los Muertos, but since flowers grew somewhat quickly, Luna's family decided to make their own family tradition. They planted new seeds the day after Dia de los Muertos, and once those are fully bloomed, they pick them and go to the cemetery. A few ideas were tossed around on what they should call it, and they've decided on Cosecha de Flores, or 'harvesting of flowers'.

For her family tradition she and her fairly makes salted caramel treats for family who had recently lost a loved one.They don't sell them.They make them as a sign of empathy for there family because they know the feeling of losing someone.
