Hazard Cats are long legged felines with quite a few robotic qualities.
Their tails are about the length of their body, split into two pieces,
and connected by some form of energy. The glass screens on their
chest are most commonly known to show a heartbeat, but many other
glowing images can appear there. These images mirror the cat’s
health in one way or another. Some cats have static on their screens,
but beware, those cats are as dangerous as they are rare! The picture
on the screen will always match the color of the cat’s eyes, which
typically have hollowed pupils. Hazards have three eyes, but the center
one is almost always covered with a band-aid or something similar.
This is because of the often dangerous powers that are channeled
through the third eye. Grates on the cats’ sides aid in breathing and
can also emit a steam, sound and mist, as well as a strange goo.
Their large ears allow them to hear potential prey miles away and make
them skilled trackers, but they are easily overwhelmed by too much
noise. Thanks to their strong legs, Hazard cats can reach speeds up to
fifty miles per hour and leap near ten feet up.

You're stalking through these unsettling woods where you hear a low howl in the distance.
Fear is making your heart pound inside your chest, and you hunker low to the ground in fear.
Before you, as if appearing out of thin air, you see a menacing looking hazard, fur fluffed up and teeth bared. Their tail cord whips back and forth like a snake. Narrowing eyes are not a good sign.

You take a step forward and they leap, flying through the air and seeming to change before your eyes. Letting loose a wild yell you fall backwards as the weight slams into your chest, first it's heavy... and then it seems to lift?
Blinking open your eyes, you see a.. mouse?

The fur on the small creature is still fluffed up, and it's chittering angrily right by your face. Letting a small nervous laugh out, you give a weary grin as you note the small creature before you has a skull and bones screen. The only thing that would set this mouse apart from others is that it has the features of a hazard.. and sharp fangs. It's eyes seem to glow as you meet it's stare.
Tapping the creature on the nose, you smile, and before you can blink you feel a sharp pain on your finger and the grass parting as the hazard disappears.
