Story;; Thumper was given the booties to wear as a safety mechanism. Every time Thumper ran around with other Neteru Shadow Walkers it seemed as though he was always injuring his forelegs. One time the injuries were bad enough to warrant stall time without any time to run around free. After this happened it was decided that Thumper would wear booties at all times while outdoors. At night they are removed and while he is stalled they are taken off. Thumper did not like the booties at first but he has grown very fond of them and looks forward to having them put on for pasture time.
