Thea is a Greek name that has multiple meanings. some say that the

sky'. I think both of them are accurate because of the details on the
viscet's pelt and her color scheme. I also feel like Thea would be a
very bright and cheery girl who matches the meaning of her name well.

Thea padded through the forest. the first chirps and calls of the nocturnal creatures were just beginning to become audible. her heart ached with loneliness and her eyes were glassy with the promise of tears. she ruffled her fur to shield her body against the cold, not that it bothered her, it was just a habit. the sound of breaking glass and a stab of pain interrupted her reverie. she looked down and saw that she had managed to stumble onto some glass in a place that she did not know. no scratches lined the trees and the flora seemed foreign. the viscet's heart raced and she limped to find refuge. she sniffed cautiously and her ears swiveled at every sound.

her wide orbs focused on the ruins of a building. vines and the gnarled branches had broken the glass in the windows and even invaded into the brick of the walls. something told her that she should not go inside but Thea's overwhelming curiosity drove her on. squinting against the darkness, she was careful to avoid broken glass scattered around the interior.

the air was stale. her eyes were drawn towards an old curtain and she tore a piece off to use as a bandage for her injury. next, she slowly climbed the wooden staircase and arrived on a second story. breathing deeply, Thea stumbled over to a rotting crate and leaned against it. the dimming light was just enough to work by and the female bandaged up her paw after extracting the glass.

after she was finished, Thea leaned back on the crate. she wasn't afraid of this place, it felt comfortable. looking up at the sky, Thea's eyes went wide. the colors of the sunset where unbelievable. for a moment, the hues of purple matched her coat and the viscet felt like she could blend into the sky. it was almost as if she was an extension of the heavens and they were an extension of her.

the hours passed and Thea couldn't tear her eyes away from the eternal stretch of sky above. the unfinished second floor radiated heat from hours of baking in the sun and the mossy bricks offered a perfect place to rest. the girl fell asleep with a smile tugging on her lips. for the first time, Thea felt at home. yes, she was alone, but she was by no means lonely.
