Whelp, today is a fairly special day for me. I also had no idea that Griffs birthday was so close to mine, haha

Anyway, here is a simple dog-based viscet with a peridot based mane. For this contest I want to know what they view as the biggest day in their lives. It could be coming, it could be in the past, it could be in the present. Remember, creativity counts!

Biggest Day:: The biggest day of Sham's life was the day she was adopted by her human. For almost three months, Sham had been confined to the shelter kennel and surrounded by other canines as they made every effort to escape from the cages. Knowing that escape was impossible, Sham just laid in the bed that the shelter staff had given her. Sham never made much noise unlike those around her, she was quiet and laid back. When someone came through the shelter looking to adopt, she never did much besides lift her head up to look at them. This resulted in getting passed up multiple times. Then one day, Sham knew something was different. Her ears perked up as she heard the door open and three people walk in. A girl named Athena came into the shelter with her parents searching for her perfect companion. Athena was a teenager of a shorter height and lighter weight than most. She walked down the rows of cages as she looked over each animal they contained, shaking her head lightly at each one. When she reached Shamrock's cage, she stopped and knelt down in front of her as Sham wagged her little stump of a tail. Sham and Athena took one look into eachother's eyes before Athena called to her parents, letting them know she had found the one she wanted to adopt. While filling out the papers to make the adoption official, Sham sat patiently at Athena's feet and never took her gaze off her perfect person. To celebrate that day, Athena placed a green bandanna around Sham's neck. Sham refuses to go anywhere unless that bandanna is on and Athena is at her side.

It has been almost a year since that day and Sham couldnt be happier than when she is with Athena. The two have become inseparable and Sham even has a job as Athena's service animal.
Occupation:: Sham is a Service Viscet. Athena suffers from seizures and often blacks out due to them. Being a Service Animal, Sham often wears a harness that bares a patch to let others know of her important job. Originally she was just going to be a pet, but then Athena noticed how Sham would alert her to an oncoming seizure five minutes before it would hit. It was then that Sham began her training as a Service Viscet. To everyone's amazement, Sham completed her training in less than a year and Athena is proud to say that she did the training herself. Sham is always happy to go to work because she loves making Athena happy and keeping her safe. When a seizure is about to hit, Sham leads Athena to a safe area and encourages her to sit down while she creates a barrier to keep other humans away unless otherwise allowed.
