Flowerstar didn't think it was a good idea, but Tawnyscar was certain she recognized a smell. With a sigh or resignation, Flowerstar cautiously followed Tawnyscar into the cave.

The two cats begin climbing trees in till they find the source of the scent- a long-haired mud-covered rogue! The rogue spits a challenge at the Warriors, hissing ferociously.

As the two go in they see a cat covered in leaves and mud behind a rock shivering. As soon as the cat noticed it almost jumped. The cat got up shakingly and looked at the two. They took a step back a little scared only seeing shadows.

Flamestriker hissed back and asked the cat if they really think fighting in the trees is a good idea. Bluefeather hit Flamestriker with her paw to make him stop hissing and look at her and glare.

"Who are you?" The rogue hissed, though she was slightly amused by the tan cat's antics. "What do you want?"

"Let me handle this," Flowerstar whispers to Tawnyclaw, who only nodded. She wouldn't be any good in this situation. Flowerstar took a step forward closer to the strange cat. "Greetings, Stranger," she began. "I am Flowerstar, leader of ThunderClan and temporary leader of ValleyClan until the actual leader returns. Who might you be?" She asked the other cat.

Bluefeather smiled and spoke softly in a kind way, "I am Bluefeather and the tom here is Flamestriker." Flamestriker spoke up and looked at the cat, "we just want to know if you want to come with us or leave in peace."

The cat relaxed and spoke quietly, "I am Rose." The cat spoke and relaxed a little, "What is the clan you speak of?" The car tilted her head.

[raindrop,]

The rogue bristled. "Why would I want to come with you?" She demanded.

Flowerstar smiled. "It's a group of cats that work together to survive. The strong take care of the weak, and we all work together. We hunt and fight together, and take care of each other." She explained. Tawnyscar nodded. "Would you like to see?"

Flamestriker's fur began to fluff up out of anger as he glared at the cat. Bluefeather put her tail over his mouth and spoke, "Where we live everyone takes care of each other and gets to know one another. We are a big group of cats called a clan and his clan is just begining to grow. More cats is needed to help the young ones train and become warriors. Flamestriker was just asking if you wanted to come. If you don't want to we can take you to the edge of the territory." She offered kindly.

Rose nodded shyly and walked over to them. She looked at them and softly smiled, she looked at the other cat there and tilted her head, "Whats your name?"

"Er, I'm Tawnyscar," Tawnyscar said. She wasn't used to cats approaching her that way. "The, um, camp is this way." Flowerstar nodded, smiling. It looked like Tawnyscar had made a friend!

The rogue shook her head. "I'm fine on my own, thank you." She leapt out of the tree into another, leaving Bluefeather and Flamestriker stunned. She was ruder than expected.

Rose followed the calico and stared at her pelt. She looked back at Flowerstar, "Why were you two out anyway. no one seems to go by the cave."

Bluefeather sighed and shook her head and carefully got out of the tree with Flamestriker behind her his fur still fluffed up with anger.

[raindrop,]

"We're looking for our missing medicine cat, deputy, and leader," Tawnyscar replied. "Have you seen any?"

The two cats return from their exploration, and on their way Bluefeather tripped on something sharp. Ouch! You better get that looked at by the medicine cat!

Rose thought and nodded, "I might have. I seen one that smelt of herbs." She looked at the sky in thought.

Flamestriker helped her back to camp and walked her to the medicine cat's den.
