Maybe we could work with a compromise of sorts. i know I'm not Mint and can't say exactly what is being done nor do I have a right to demand something being done, but I'm just going to suggest that maybe, if we were to either do an extension of two days would be compromise? it's not too long, so those who've spent more time and don't want an extension shouldn't be too disappointed, and it means that those who need more time get some extra time.

If that isn't an option, may I suggest a poll? Leave it open today and tomorrow, and when it comes time that the competition would be closed, someone checks the poll and if it says more people want an extension then it's left open for a day or two or maybe three at most, and if more people don't want an extension, it closes like normal?

I honestly felt that 3 weeks was well long enough to complete any forms (if it were prioritized/really wanted). I have a busy schedule on a regular basis but if it had been someone else's competition that I had entered, 3 weeks would have been plenty enough time for me to get art (both making and commissioning) as well as writing the limited amount of words allowed.

I understand life happens, it does to me all the time, and it tends to get in the way more the older you get (at least from what I've found). But you have to know how to plan ahead when you're on a time constraint. And I honestly don't want to give an extension, at all.

But I will grant an extension, but I'm not giving more than 2 days. No extra extensions, no more than 2 days. As stated before I didn't want to give an extension at all, not since the competition really picked up momentum - I didn't feel it needed an extension. But I'm going to give two extra days, so this will end on the 22nd instead of the 20th. If you don't have your forms completed by then, then I'm sorry but I will judge them for what they are.

I will have a hard enough time judging this competition as it stands, I don't need to prolong it honestly.

it also did get extended until the 22nd and it's still only the 19th. Those who asked for the extension are possibly working on their forms by another means and will be updating it when they are pleased enough with the outcome. I am definitely known to go into edit mode and leave it in the webpage for a few days until I'm satisfied with everything in it before actually updating it for everyone else to see.

I definitely wasn't being accusatory or rude in any way, shape, or form either. I was merely stating another viewpoint and I most certainly wasn't trying to call you out or argue. I just figured I may as well put my two cents in as well since what I stated is definitely something I do and may be what others are doing as well. I didn't mean for you to take what I said as rude, just as another option for why people aren't editing as much as you would like them to.
