When people think of Fiala, the first thing that comes to mind would probably be
sweet. And she really is! Her softly colored fur and personality seem to call
for it. From tiny sneezes to her clumsiness, Fiala would make a perfect anime character.
What most don't know is what happens at home. Fiala isn;t just sweet, she pulls back her
feathers and gets down to work. She doesn't mind getting absolutely filthy, a stark
difference to when she is in public, always dressed her best. Fiala's parents run a large
foster home and she rarely has a minute to herself. Food fights, mud fights, little plumies
running around, sibling teasing, Fiala, being the oldest, has to deal with it all. But not in
the 'cute' way you might expect. Carrying many kids at a time to chasing them around the
house to then tackle them to the ground, Fiala becomes a bit less of a role model.
At night, she tucks the younger ones into bed and helps the older ones with homework.
When those go to bed, she then does her own work and goes to bed very late. Each
morning, Fiala rubs away her sleep and gets ready for a new day of being calm and collected.
I guess you could say her sweet persona came out of not getting to be and want attention, but
it has grown to be part of who she is. Sometimes, Fiala wishes she could bring the part of
herself that she displays at home into public, but not everyone is perfect, and Fiala is still
trying to accept her rowdy, bossy and silly big sister self.
