Condensation wells in her eyes,
each fallen drop a memory of times passed

Her clouded mind cannot look past the guise
a glass pane veiled by skies overcast

Stale afflictions roll down, showing little lines of clarity
Vision obstructed yet clear, like prison bars.

She raises a hand with profound temerity
she wipes away all barriers to her prosperity
for once, she sees clearly that she can be amongst stars
