“I barely remembered today two hours ago, I'm so glad you could make it!” She confessed between heavy breaths.
“O-Of course! I mean, w-well I, couldn't possibly not come that would be ridiculous.“
Marri gave a soft smile and let her friend inside.
“Did you bring-“
“Honey? I had an inkling you’d be out.” a sparkle gleamed in her eye, grateful she thanked Olwen and helped set the table; sugar, honey, cream, biscuits, tea, and strawberries, a beautiful ikebana center piece consisted of peach blossoms cascading a branch, intertwined with two tiger lilies in a fluent spiral motion.
“Oh Ollie, this one looks even prettier than the last!”
“I’ve had some time between the busy days.” The two of them smiled and sat down to enjoy the tea whose wafting fragrance enticed them.

Gentle with her words
Blessed with graceful feet
But her voice could never match a bird's
She glimmers and glows
Like a glossy sun ray
Only proving to show
Her fair love for Ballet
But there isn't a reason
For her ever to boast
Since it's during the season
She truly loathes most
When the land is stark
When low branches must be shaken
Where the ground is a slippery stone heart
Is where her passion was taken

Marri loves recitals, especially contemporary and ballet.
She enjoys company, so her house is clean and always has snacks handy.
Marri can often be found in her front lawn enjoying honey and strawberries, resting on a picnic blanket. She likes to read to pass the time, mostly the Grimm stories or those by Hans Christian Anderson.

Want to get on Marri's bad side? Ask her to dance. She doesn't like the winter time, because she slipped on ice, twisted her leg the wrong way, and landed hard enough to shatter her knee cap. Winter is too stark for her taste anyways, there's so much white it's blinding, and nothing sings, not even the wind, trees only groan and it's eerie.

Marri was a famous ballerina, she won many awards and had taken first place twice in global competition. She was looked up to by many aspiring ballerinas and danseurs, and was one of those who gave tips to help them all she could.
After her surgeries, her doctor said that her muscle had torn wrong and she would need therapy to be able to walk again. In hopes that she would be able to get back on her feet once more, she made sure the attend all the therapy she could, for once being on time for something besides recitals. She followed everything the doctor directed and recovered... Except, when dancing, she couldn't hold her weight anymore, and quick or heavy movements caused sharp pains to shoot up her leg. Her doctor advised early retirement, and she did so with a heavy heart and a longing to dance.
