History:
The Abd Al-Hissian, a luxury guard dog made through selective breeding of the common Indian Pariah Dog. It all came from the idea of one man, who owned several Abd Al-Maliks that he cherished, and used for riding through the lesser parts of the city to visit family or used them to cart goods to the market. As happenstance would have it he was mugged on his way home from the marketplace with his coin and good in tow. They took the rest of his cloths, silks, and then took the coins he made selling the other items. His horse was also taken, most likely to sell, and he was left to walk back to his home on foot with night time approaching. As he trekked back towards his home he noticed the sleek, agile dogs coming out of hiding with the darkening of the sky. He thought they were beautiful with their almost delicate builds and fiercely loyal nature, having watched a male protect a puppy from encroaching strangers. He knew that their loyal nature was what would be needed in a guard dog, and their beauty would attract people of good money and bloodlines. After he got home he took it upon himself to get a pair of Indian Pariah Dogs to act as breeders, and began the selective process. Only the most agile, beautiful puppies from their litter was kept. He then brought in an outside bloodline and kept breeding downwards to get the traits he most desired in this particular dog breed. And when he finally had what he was looking for, he began to raise the dogs around his horses and even alongside them. Training them to guard their sister species of Abd Al-Maliks, though it took a little while and a few generations to get them to the point they protected the horses without thought. The dogs would walk alongside them when out riding or simply going into the city. Most people who loved luxury things sought after the breed and began breeding the Abd Al-Hissians themselves giving the breed its reputation as a luxury guard dog that it has today. Even now they are highly sought after as no two of the dogs is the same and are the perfected species of their breed, bred to be loyal, protective, agile, and beautiful.

History:
A man was taking care of four puppies, all different colors. Three of them died from sickness, and one remained; strong and agile. Once the canine grew up a little, the man trained it. It became a guard dog like it was supposed to be, and it was well trained. The man had no other animal to take care of; so he treasured his pet, treating it as a best friend and a part of his family. One night, the Hissan watched as someone approached their house. Alerted, the dog barked, standing in a stiff and defensive stance, staring at the human that approached. The man who owned the dog came and looked at the door, seeing no one was there. His dog scared the stranger off, who was most likely coming to steal. Everyone who came around this man's house and the Hissan was always jealous that they didn't have a guard like that, but at least they got to see it in all it's glory.

Forgive me if I did the story wrong or whatever, not really good at it.

actually im not sure if ill have time ?? even just to write a history
take this as a simple mark/watch/whatever for the time being !!!

    Code: Select all
    Username: dave.
Kennel: to be made at some date
    Show Name: "Reversing Forward"
    Call Name:  Duke
    Sex: male
    Collar color: dark steel
    History: wip !!
dogs were bred to be guard dogs of stables,, since the malik numbers were dropping,, rather expensive dogs and usually you only got the dog if you had the horse. their skin is super thin and often flakes, is dry, etc. their paw pads are really tough/thick to withstand the hot sand. they have thin and frail bones, ears are actually rather ?? bad,, sharp eyesight,, they are very territorial and aggressive which is why they are the perfect guard dogs.
xxPersonality: Observant, protective, and loyal
xxare just some of the ways that one might
xxgo about describing Abheek. Once he picks his
xxhuman, or even animal, he'd do just about any-

xxonly shows when he's sure there's no immediate

xxhe occasionally plays a little too rough, and
xxwhen even the slightest sound is heard by this
xxdog, he'll instantly go back into guard mode.

xHistory: The Abd-Al Hissan dog breed was bred
xsolely for guard dog purposes. These dogs were raised
xto be fierce stable protectors as well as protect their
xhumans from any harm. Once they imprint on a human
xor family (animals included) they tend to be very
xprotective of that human or family. These dogs aren't
xvery good for families with young children, but if
xraised right then there shouldn't be an issue with how
xthe dog acts around children. Their breed came into
xexistence through experimental breeding to creative
xthe ideal guard dog. In the most recent years, some of
xthese dogs have been used to show, but don't be fooled,
xthey're still strong, fierce dogs with the power to take
xdown a full grown male.

      History:
Arabian leopards usually aren't much of an issue. In fact, they weren't much of an issue until they discovered they had a taste for Abd Al-Maliks. After losing an alarming number of horses, Abd Al-Malik owners decided to take manners into their own hands: they'd make their own line of defense. Through careful, selective breeding the Abd Al-Hissan was born. They come from humble beginnings: they were just what the Malik owners could find around; Indian Pariah Dogs. The mutts were already courageous and bold enough to chase off the leopards, so it didn't take much prodding to make the dogs fall into their natural role.

That being said, Al-Hissans were bred for functionality, not show. Their coats are as varied as their personalities; comparable to the horses they were made to protect. Seasoned Hissan and Malik owners have a distinct trick of the trade: they raise the dogs alongside their horses. When a new foal is born, it's time to introduce a new Hissan. As a result, you get a dog that views the horses as their bigger sisters and brothers. The bond between dog and horse is unbreakable.

Over the years Hissans have grown to appeal as a show breed, but make no mistake. Al-Hissans are working dogs, and without work, they're often unhappy and quite destructive.

What makes a Hissan a Hissan? Besides their keen eye and loud mouth, Hissans are extremely agile and able to keep up with the horses they were created to protect. They've got a true attitude to them: the street dog being bred out of them just enough to ensure their unwavering loyalty. The breed is no pushover; these are strong-willed dogs and they're more than happy to let their owners and companions know when they're unhappy. They lack the cautious nature of their ancestors: known to chase leopards up into a tree and keep it there until their owners can come to investigate.

One of the most famous Hissans, a dog known as Kalējā (Hindi for courage), is remembered for such a tale. His owner had lost four of his most prized Maliks to a local leopard. Unable to catch the crafty horse killer in any traps, he bought a local street dog as a last resort. Kalējā went on to not only find the leopard, but chase it into an olive tree and keep it there all night until his owner awoke and came to check on his animals. What truly took the man by surprise was that the leopard wasn't alone: she had three cubs of her own in the tree with her. Not only was this aggressive cat cornered, but protecting her children as well. Kalējā went on to become one of the progenitors of the breed.

Another famous tale is of a dog named Avirodh (Hindi for peace). Avirodh is known for his courage in a different way. Storms are few and far between in the UAE, but when they do strike, they are severe. Avirodh was with his herd when the storm struck: scaring the easily-spooked horses into a frenzy. Midst the chaos, Avi did not panic; instead managed to corral his companions somewhere safe until the storm ended. Without him, the horses would've scattered to the winds.

With courage from such dogs as Kalējā and the effortless leadership qualities of dogs such as Avirodh, Hissans have become the ultimate in dog-based security. They show the tenacity of a dog ten times their size, but the wisdom to know when to bark and when to bite. They are in no way mild mannered dogs; only employed by the elite to protect what is important to them. What you'll find in a Hissan is nothing short of an excellent dog: loyal, brave, steadfast.
