• What is a Hindoge? •
Hindoges originated in Africa as an attempt to create a hybrid
hunting dog. This combination was a success, resulting in a cross
between a Dog and Hyena. This cross made the canines more cunning,
there ears bigger and jaws stronger. The dog cross added more of a
domesticated side to the Hindoges, This causing them to be more
obedient and take orders more easily, also making them easier to identify
Compared to wild hyenas. These dogs soon spread all over the world
As domesticated canines.

Cherish is the loud, headstrong and outgoing sort. She is never happy just sitting around waiting for things to happen, and is often the first one to come up with 'brilliant' plans to entertain herself and housemates. Even if those plans end up getting her scolded on the end, she never loses heart, and she will try something different the very next day... Or hour if she's feeling confident enough in the ideas she comes up with.
Story
Cherish's parents were bred specifically to be showy for the breed in an attempt to make Hindoge show dogs, and thus Cherish was supposed to come out as an even better specimen than them. Little did the breeders know that as soon as the little pup was to start moving about, she would be a spitfire and not keen on obeying their orders, even the simple ones such as 'come'. The little pup took delight in frustrating the two legged giants that took care of her and her family, after all she truly believed that this was all a game and that she had to make the most of it before she got to find her true home despite the fact that her mother constantly corrected her and lectured her on how to behave for the humans.

One night of lectures was particularly bad as Cherish snapped at her mother, and took off for the door that had just been opened by one of the humans. The little pup managed to dart around their legs and swiftly vanished into the darkness, hoping to never see her family again due to her raging anger. She would soon come to regret wishing that because as soon as she got a few blocks away, she was scooped up by another human and taken right to a shelter. Unfortunately for little Cherish, the breeders only saw her as profit, and since they couldn't train her, they really didn't care to go look for her as they would only make a fraction of what they other pups would bring in... but it wasn't all bad for her because as soon as she was available to be adopted from the shelter, a human who owned a few other Hindoges stopped by and pointed her out. He decided to call the small pup 'Cherish' for the obvious reasons of her now being a beloved and cherished member of the family, but also so he could give her the nickname 'Cherry' after the cherries that she reminded him of at first sight.
