Even though Mizu's name in Japanese is water, she is absolutely fearful of the silky waves that lap on the shore of Hawaii, her home. Mizu's fear started when her mother drowned. Little Mizu had been on the beach with her mama when a huge wave came
In and swept Nia (Mizu's mum) away. Nia didn't know how to swim, and so didn't Mizu, so by the time rescuers came, Nia was already dead, leaving the Viscling to become an orphan. Ever since then, Mizu does not want to be near the large body of water. Maybe lapping at her feet, but not too far in.

How do they feel about water?:
Water, water, water.
Thats been the only thing Amanzi has known for a long time. Growing up by a river that leads to a lake, she can remember, as a young Viscet, standing in the shallows, the water curling around her legs, soaking her to the bone. Amanzi knows the power of water, and admires it for that. It has grace and beauty, but it can turn foul in an instant, dragging the poor creature caught up in its rapids to its doom. Water is fundamental, life was born there, life is born there, life is supported there. Amanzi relies on water for her food and for her hydration, for her shelter, hiding from hunters, for her general enjoyment. Amanzi loves water - after all, its hard not to. She adores swimming in the shallows, her paws scraping against the bottom, her head peeking out of the surface. She loves diving deep, deep, deep into the middle, where the water gets murky and the only thing you can hear is the blood in your ears. Water is beautiful, with the light bouncing off the surface, with the millions of colors it seems to hold. Water is powerful, with its white rapids and dark depths. Water is graceful, with its crashing waves.

How do they feel about water?~Inoici enjoys water in small amounts, such as pools, or a creek. But large bodies of water that you can't see the bottom freaks him out. This fear generally drives him out of any lakes, or the ocean. Even being on a boat will scare him out of his wits.

How do they feel about water?
For a viscet who grew up around water of all kinds, it's odd to find that Zayla doesn't
enjoy it as much as others would. It's not the visual side of water that she doesn't like,
in fact, she loves the look of water. Zayla even spends a majority of her time looking
at and observing water, and she loves the soft sound of lightly trickling streams. Being
around water is one of the only things that calms Zayla, and she has grown to love it.
The downside to water from Zayla's point of view is the strange feeling of wet fur against
her body. Her coat is very absorbent, and takes an extended period of time to fully
dry, even on a hot day. Even as a viscling, Zayla didn't enjoy being submerged in any
sort of water. Because of this, she never learned how to swim, and to this day, Zayla
has a rational fear of drowning and being swept away by ocean/river currants. She
also highly dislikes not being able to see the bottom of some streams and rivers. Many
find it odd how she can have a growing fear about the same object that calms her.

How do they feel about water? She hates it, she's scared to death of the ocean, lakes, river, even ponds! The only water she can deal with is drinking water straight from the faucet. She has anxiety about being eaten when she is in a body of water. Or even near one. She's scared that a tidal wave (Tsunami) could occur. Or a rogue wave. Or a fish. Or anything that could happen.

How do they feel about water? - Kaiyō is was always curios about water. In the morning, he would mark where the tides got up to with a stick. Before he went to sleep, he would check it to see if the tides rose. Even thought he inspected the water, he was too afraid to go in large amounts. Still, he found himself fascinated by water.
